you are absolutely right as RTE says that a school can not discriminate on any criteria once it is coming under category of a regular private unaided school and is not a minority institution...
springdales says that they have a vast majority of 4000 live alumni members...so thats why they are giving 25 points..again sibling has most of the points at 35.Then comes Minority Tag at 10 points.
so all 70 points eaten up.
then how can a General category parent not being an alumni and trying 1st time for this school will cope?
i think this also will not fulfill the school's aim of having a vibrant diverse mix of students as siblings & alumni may have similar strata of society...with same mind sets...
