A SUGGESTION TO ALL SCHOOLS AND DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION :
eg. THE INDIAN SCHOOL THE FOUNDATION SCHOOL
TIMINGS : 0700 TO 1200 hrs TIMINGS : 1200 TO 1700 hrs
THESE SCHOOLS RUN IN THE SAME PRIMISES WITH DIFFERENT TIME SLOTS
IN THE SAME SPACE AVAILABLE SCHOOL HAS PROVIDED A MODEL TO DOUBLE THE NO. OF SEATS AVAILABLE, WHICH AS PER ME SOLVES THE CURRENT PROBLEM TO QUITE AN EXTENT.
LEARNINGS :
1. MAKE ALL SCHOOLS TO HAVE TWO SHIFTS OPERATIONS (MANDATORY).
2. SECOND SHIFT FEES MIGHT BE KEPT ON A LOWER SIDE.
3. IF THE SCHOOL DOSEN'T WANT TO OPERATE SECOND SHIFT AUCTION THE BID TO RUN THE SECOND SHIFT, FOR WHICH REVENUES CAN BE SHARED BETWEEN TWO PARTIES MAY BE WITH SOME AID IF NEEDED BE PROVIDED BY EDUCATION MINISTRY.
OUTCOMES :
1. EMPLOYMENT FOR SEVERAL ASPIRING TEACHERS.
2. RUSH FOR THE ADMISSION PROCESS REDUCES SUBSTANTIALLY.
3. THERE ARIVES A EQUILIBRIUM BETWEEN DEMAND AND SUPPLY EQUATION.
4. FAIR COMPETITION BETWEEN VARIOUS SCHOOLS.
5. PARENTS HAVE MORE OPTIONS TO CHOOSE BETWEEN, WITH ADDED BENEFIT OF FLEXIBLE SCHOOL TIMINGS.

DEAR MODERATORS AND ALL CONCERNED
THIS DISCUSSION IS JUST TO MAKE MY EARLIER DISCUSSION HEADING MORE CLEAR AND CORRECT.
SUGGESTION & ACTIONS INVITED
WE HAVE SPACE FOR MALLS BUT NOT FOR SCHOOLS, STILL TO OVERLOOK THAT WE MUST MANAGE THE ALL POSSIBLE RESOURCES.
WE TRY INNOVATE ALL FEILDS INCLUDING OUR TRADITIONAL AGRICULTUREM THEN WHY NOT SCHOOLS.
THESE DAYS ALL OF US ARE AFTER MAXIMUM YEILD, WHY NOT APPLY SAME TO SCHOOLS, ADDED THE DIRE CIRCUMSTANCE WE ALL ARE CAUGHT INTO.
IF WE CAN'T DO IT NOW, ITS OUR FUTURE GENERATION THAT SUFFERS
there are many odds to this suggestion:
1. the govt is not allowing pvt unaided schools to run a second shift because this will lead to commercialization (may be it is one of the reason) and govt has recently allowed pvt aided schools to run second shift. i don't know how many come up with this suggestion???
2. how many schools will pay the fair remuneration to teachers and other staff as they are not willing to pay reasonable pay to morning shift staff??? and consequently think about the quality of teaching???
3. how many of we the parents are willing to send there ward in the evening shift ????
there are many more things bro....which can be said ... i will keep on posting other things here...
If we have to equalise the demand with the supply, the second shift is the earliest way to find out. We have to take out solutions how this can be happened. My suggestions :
1. Unaided schools will not degrade the standard of second shift comparng to morning shift as it is the quetion of reputation of the school. Hence, schools will provide complete infrastructure with good faculties.
2. May be ladies who are at home can send their child in second shift which isn't possible with working women.
How Indian school is managing that can be the benchmark.
Currently most of the schools have time of 6 hrs (say morning 8 to afternoon 2).
With two shifts it's not easy managing 12 hrs ( 6hrs * 2) + 30 mins (for shift change), so the school timing has to be 7 am to 7:30 pm
In winter, not sure how many parents will be interested in second shift considering the safety of wards. Also with nuclear family sending kids to school in second shift will be an issue.
That's what i want to say.... there are lots issues in two shift schools timing ,quality of education and willing ness to send kids in odd timing......
Agreed with Deepak,
One of the main point is the safety of wards specially in winter time.
@MR. MAHESH JAIN
1. COMMERCIALIZATION : YOUR PT. OF CONCERN
LET ME SUGGEST YOU THAT DURING THE TIMES WE JUST HAD MTNL PHONE LINES AND MARUTI CARS ONLY (1970S). IT WAS JUST RATIONING AND LICENSING, HENCE NO FAIR COMPETITION AND HENCE GOOD OR BAD THEY WERE THE ONLY CHOICES.
POST LIBERALIZATION WE HAD OPTIONS AND HENCE ALL SERVICE PROVIDERS COMPETED BETWEEN THEMSELVES, AND THE CONSUMER EVOLVED AS ULTIMATE WINNER. LET ME ASSURE YOU ONE THING FOR SURE, HIGHER SUPPLY THAN DEMAND ALWAYS IMPROVES QUALITY. ITS SIMPLE ECONOMICS. PLEASE DON'T BE SKEPTICAL ON THAT ISSUE, IF THERE IS ANY OTHER DOUBT PLEASE SHARE.
2.PAYMENTS OF GOOD TEACHERS
ANSWER TO THIS ALSO LIE IN FIRST PT. HIGHER SUPPLY ALWAYS LEADS TO BETTER QUALITY. MOREOVER WE DON'T HAVE SCARCITY OF GOOD TEACHERS.
3.I AM READY TO SEND MY CHILD TO A SECOND SHIFT, SO ARE MANY PARENTS. AFTER ALL SOMETHING IS ALWAYS BETTER THEN NOTHING.
FINALLY ITS RATIONING AND LICENSING AT THE END OF GOVT. AND DOE TO KEEP THEMSELVES AT PLAY IN THE WHOLE PICTURE, MOREOVER WITH CURRENT NO. OF SEATS SITUATION IS ONLY GOING TO WORSE WITH PASSING YEARS. DELHI DOSEN'T HAS THE SPACE TO DOUBLE SCHOOLS, ONLY SOLUTION IS DOUBLE SHIFTS.
LETS BE PRACTICAL.
Sorry bro.... education is not commerce or economics... plez dont mix them.....
This is the result of money game and greed that there are lots of pils and still it is jot clear what's gonna happen to admission of kids.....
One more thing ...this is the problem we equate every thing with money and think we can buy every thing with the help of money....
This is my views sir....
YOUR VIEWS ARE MOST WELCOME
THEY JUST SIGNIFY DIFFERENCE OF OPINION AND NOTHING MUCH.
WE MIGHT BE LOOKING AT 6 FROM TWO DIFFERENT SIDES AND BOTH BE CORRECT.
Thanx bro... i am a teacher and it really hurts when soneone Mingle education with business....
And after all this admission process experience i found that mgt is too much greedy for money and which is creating all the problems
