Sibling criteria
A boy is reading in a school under EWS/DG category. His sister applied in same school for nursery admission under open/general category. Is she eligible for sibling points or not ? School says she is not eligible for sibling as her brother is reading under EWS/DG Category

Sibling points are not defined by the category of the elder child at the time of admission. In case some schools have reservations on this then the same needs to be made clear in the initial notice inviting applications for admission.The same cannot be applied in a cavalier manner

In EWS DOL no points for siblings only lottery n distance

Girl applied for admission under General Seats. Her brother is reading in same school under EWS/DG category. Girl wants admission under General seats as sibling case. School is not considered sibling case under General seats as her brother is reading under EWS/DG category
