Guidelines will never change. The pvt schools will always give the admission to a certain category. By giving maximum points to alumni and sibling they are sure that the students of their school will of high class. But obvious - Alumni of a good reputed school must be of very good status and high class. Similary - Giving points to sibling means again admission to a certain catergory or class.
GEN Category - who can avail points only for distance - FORGET ABOUT ADMISSION....... either buy management seats or compromise with your choice of school.
Very Very true... i think the talent or qualities in our children does not matter.... what matters is this disgusting admission criteria
Sachin,
I concur with you .
Every school has their own criteria for the admission.. Some of the schools gives 35 pts to alumni and 25 to sibling. Some of them give 25 points to alumni and 35 points to sibling. But ultimately by the juggling of points they make sure that the admitted child is either from the alumni category or sibling category or both. No use of giving points to distance. If a school give more than 60 points to distance, then only there are some chance of getting admission of the little one.. Out Education Minister can atleast make it mandatory to give more than 60 marks to distance by every school.
Actually our schools are alike "Congress" They don't want any change. Mr Sumit Vohra fights for our rights and have brought many changes to admission system. He is playing the role of "Anna". but due to lack of support of "Aam Aadmi", we are no where ? still struglling. Bring a change pls... fights for our rights.. The parents living nearby atleast should be given guaranteed admission to their wards..
