New Delhi: The protests by parents against the school fee hike are finally having an impact. The directorate of education (DoE) issued notices to two schools in the city on Saturday asking them to roll back the hike. The MCD also served a similar notice to a school in Daryaganj on Monday.
Reena Ray, secretary, education, said: ‘‘We have issued a direction to K R Mangalam School in Vikaspuri and Doon Public School in Paschim Vihar to withdraw the hike in their fees. We have checked their accounts and they already have enough funds.’’ Ray added that the DoE is acting on the parents’ complaints and schools across the city are now being summoned to get their accounts checked. The MCD also asked Ramjas Nursery Primary School to ‘‘withdraw any increase in fee and other charges’’ as the director (primary education) had not approved it. The agency has asked the school to refund the hiked amount to parents and submit a compliance report within two days.
Meanwhile, with many parents again protesting in Rohini and Pitampura on Monday, the Outer Ring Road at Pitampura was blocked for almost half-anhour in the morning. Some parents also protested outside a school in Rajouri Garden and Daryaganj. Anil Gupta, president, Parents’ Association of Sachdeva Public School, Pitampura, said, ‘‘We had gathered parents from five schools — Sachdeva Public School in Rohini and Pitampura, St Angel School in Rohini, Maharaja Agrasen School and Rukmini Devi Public School in Pitampura.’’
The protests are also intensifying in Noida. Thousands of parents gathered at the Noida Stadium on Sunday to register their protest. Manoj Kumar, president, Noida Parents’ Association, said, ‘‘Parents in Delhi have a grievance redressal cell. But for us, the redressal cell is based in Allahabad. Who has the time to go there? On Tuesday, we will hold a meeting with the school management at Vishwa Bharti School to sort out the matter with them.’’

salwan public school , rajinder nagar has no parents association. they have already hiked their fee .apart from that they have already given us a printed arrear demand to be paid in the next quarter. we have already given them an arrear amount of rs. 5500 in the month of january. now they are asking for the second installment.
is there nobody to raise voice against them.
can somebody please help us

Media promises to keep your name confidential but its not 100% foolproof as they require a documentary evidence as concrete proof which has to be produced in case school has some
issues with media.but we can talk verbally and c what they can do.
