I have repeatedly heard from my friends that the reality is very far from the so called 'points, critieria..etc'. In effect a large %age of admits have to dole out heavy donations: I have heard bizarre nos..anywhere between 8-15 lakhs (10-12 lakhs being the 'norm'). While I am buckling up for admissions of my child in the next AY, I am really looking to understand if my assumptions (or hearsay) are right in anyway?
