To remove so many confusions again Registration forms shud be filled in fresh manner ..... Also session cud be extended by having less days in summer vacations...

I would like to have all of your support in regarding admissions by having the registration form filled again so that people make a right choice again so ever it is a difficult process to run again but still we can think more properly i think so and will be able to approach more properly

you are right one month of less eductn is not going to effect their career but a wrong admission can

Everything should be done with new guideline otherwise someone will file case against alumini and sibling category and it will continue.

Mansi Mam is absolutely correct. DOE, LG and Govt agencies concerned have to take concrete decision and issue fresh Guidelines with different point system. DOE has now announced the new dates 1st List on 07 Apr 2014, 2nd List on 14 Apr 2014 and 3rd List from 16 to 21 Apr 2014. Means it is very much clear that new session is not going to start before May 2014. Now a committee of all learned and concerned people have to decide the fresh Guidelines.

And alumni points must also be restricted or be abolished as there is no possibility of our child to get admission in old and established schools. It is very much clear from the present lists of all DPS chain of schools in Delhi. Like DPS, RK Puram, all seats have been captured by Sibling and Alumni only and no seat is available for 70 pointers, they are going for draw of 70 pointers for waiting list only.

I agree. Going for a redraw without addressing the point system would, I feel, be of little help. All that one would be really doing is to swell the ranks of 70 pointers, without proportionate increase in the number of seats. What is really needed is that the points system needs to be reworked entirely.

For eg:- rather than 70 points for a blanket distance of 0-8km, there could be a gradation in distance criteria, like say 40 points for 0-4 km, 25 points for 4-6km and 5 points for > 6km. Further Sibling points could be reduced to 10 points, points be given to girl child/first born child.

Since the date for the first list has been shifted to 7th April, there would be enough time for schools to open up for registrations afresh, based on revised guidelines.

superlyk archna mam also i will lyk to say the radius shud be reduced as it is matter of proper filteration nd confidence for parents It is a matter of 15 years of education of a kid nd it is not a joke

as a person living near by the school is of no use of it for him he just have to wait and watch and see how the peoples living far from him are getting that seat
