Top 5 schools for South Delhi near Vasant Kunj
Dear All,
Once the list is out, we will be getting very less days to decide upon the school, so its the right time to create a list of favourites.
Please help in identifying best schools near Vasant Kunj and why?
For me the Top 5 are
1) DPS VV
2) The Mother's International
3) Modern VV
4) DPS VK
5) Amity/Bhatnagar.
Please give your inputs

Please don't forget Vasant Valley and Shri Ram School . They are arguably the best in Vasant Vihar / Kunj.

You cannot compare apple and oranges
VV/Shriram/Modern are good for holistic development
Academically both Mothers and DPS VK /DPS VV are better than these see last 5-10 yrs 12 th Grade results
than these
So tough to compare
Amity would come next
Bhatnagar not in any comparison to above
Also see if you are particular about boards as shriram follows ICSE

Thanks for the reply, your point is well taken. If we keep VV/Shriram a side,
than out of DPS/Mothers which school is better in terms of providing options for Sports, extra curricular activity or personality development platforms.

Yes Sakshiji , your statement is fair and just .My personal preference too would be Mothers International in South East Delhi . In South West Delhi it is a tough choice , would come down between Shri Ram / Vasant Valley / DPS VV / DPS VK. On a lighter note would settle for any of these schools if my ward gets selected.

From lot of my friend I am getting the feedback that mothers has great culture but DPS has amazing options for growth on co-scholastic parameters.
Till date I am unable to understand what does culture mean.
As for child to grow the atmosphere of home plays a major role in defining the value system for future.
So is it correct to put mothers on top of DPS VV when the exposure is more at later option.
Highly confused.
Can anyone please put DPS VV/DPS VK/Mothers in right order for us to choose.

Dps Rk Puram puts lot of pressure after 5th n till 5th class Dps VV/Eok are just like play schools n no pressure at all
DPS VK maintains a level of constant pressure from begining so children do not face much issues in 6th grade or afterwards
In last 2 years more parents from forum opted for DPS VK Over DPS VV as they were selected in both because of alumni or sibling factor (before that DPS RKP used to be first choice )
The academic curriculum of DPS > Mothers
Mothers parent find it overhyped same with DPSVV/VK
No parent is satisfied after they get admission in the desired school :)
Yes very few parents opted for Mothers over Shriram also ( who got selected in both in past 7-8 yrs) they were more inclined towards down to earth culture as Shriram is considered having Hi Profile culture

Sakshi Ji, please confirm if I am right in my summarisation based on your valuable feedback:-
a) Shriram and VV are best but the monthly fee is double than mothers or DPS VK/VV
b) Out of Mothers and DPS VK/VV, DPS VK is best both academically and on curriculum distribution basis. Than comes Mothers and than DPS VV.
Please also help us to know by taking example of any of the above schools like Mother's, about the parameters(2 you have already told us class 12th result and culture) to research on for deciding about the schools.
