UNFAIR - No chance for kids with 70 points
No matter how much we praise the new point system but it is becoming nightmare for the parents of kids who scored just the distance points.
Now, I think, the previous point system was ok.
I have all top schools within 3 km of my home (South Delhi) but since the criteria is 8 km and number of applications has increased manifolds (AS STATED BY MR VOHRA IN OTHER POST) in all schools just due to this, I have no chance.
Almost all top 15 schools are saying they have more application > 75 points for total number of seats. That means my kids doesn't even get a opportunity to be included in a lucky Draw. THE END OF THE ROAD FOR PARENTS WITH 70 POINTS.
Mr VOHRA Can we still think something about this??
People are getting nervous and hopeless due to this.
Find some GOVERNMENT CRAPPY SCHOOL GUYS OR GO TO SOME OTHER CITY...
I AM FRUSTRATED TO MY CORE!!!!

I am ging through the same trauma. Inspite of good schools in the vicinity, I am unable to score more than 70 points in any school. Looks like the first borns and especially boys have a chance nowhere. What do we do? Shouldnt there be a small quota for transfer cases rather than selecting all the transfer cases and eating away the seats of the general pool and kids who just have neighbourhood points and do not qualify for any other category?

the same frustration here.. just because of transfer case points(which is applicable in all the school) applicants with 70 points will no where get change to make it even for draw of lots... while sibling & alumni cases will be awarded these points in only one school.. WHYYYYY WHYYYY 5 points are being given to transfer cases..what is the logic in giving these points at the start of the academic session that too at the entry level,,, I m not able to digest it......

Hello Friends,
The point system gives advantage to the transfer case or girl child or sibling, but what about first born boy child. Having a single baby boy has no advantage in this scenario. I am living in east delhi with top 4 schools of this region under one km distance from my home but hope is less as i have only 70 points. Shouldn't there be point for a single child? Shouldn't the Govt promote Single child policy for parents to control the population of the nation also? We are in a sovereign state but the rules are not. Too stressed out...

No chance on 70 points in good schools.now we are also not shure about our chances in other schools.as there are many applications

No Mr. Dhingra all girls will have a chance even in 70 points. But for about 5/10 seats they are having about 3000/4000 applications in each schools SO GOOD LUCK!!!!

I too agree with divya n manavi..i am also mother of first boy n with only little hope..i can stop myself from getting stressed..i dont know wht to do..PLZ SUMIT SIR AND AN TEAM DO SUMTHING ABOUT THIS..LG NAJEEB GUNJ THOUGHT THIS WILL HELP US..BUT NO..ONLY 70 POINTS IS IF NO UUSE

They want us to move to other city :( That way the burden of delhi population will all reduce and on other hand we will get transfer benefit in other city(hope they change rule for us: ) )

Transfer points are sheer nonsense. In a way we are getting penalized for being permanent citizens of Delhi. Any one can lure his boss to get transfer six months before admission from a neighboring state and eat away all the seats.
As per my statistics the people who are scoring 75 points are 95% transfer cases. Do you smell a RAT???
So in a way 90% of the general seats are eaten up by transfer cases and since we are giving tax to state government for every single thing like entertainment to VAT to road tax to amount of oxygen we take in, we are penalized for the same. We are the one who are standing in lines to get the right government elected and see who get the bonus..
Somebody comes with a shitty certificate 6 months back and stole the our kids future.
HOW JUSTIFIED??
I really smell a scam of transfer cases this time around. May be another way for a management quota who knows? School is the final authority to authenticate a transfer certificate..
Can anybody explain?

100% true.. but even if transfer case is genuine...why should they be given the bonus points... are they coming in the middle of the session ? no logic at all...

All in the name of nobleness.. Athithi devo bhav! But why do this for kids as trial? Older people should be fired from job to accommodate working sons of transferred people:)

God dps school has not one 70 point children taken it's soooooo unfair we'r do such children go then it's crap the whole criteria
