Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

No matter how much we praise the new point system but it is becoming nightmare for the parents of kids who scored just the distance points.

Now, I think, the previous point system was ok.

I have all top schools within 3 km of my home (South Delhi) but since the criteria is 8 km and number of applications has increased manifolds (AS STATED BY MR VOHRA IN OTHER POST) in all schools just due to this, I have no chance.

Almost all top 15 schools are saying they have more application > 75 points for total number of seats. That means my kids doesn't even get a opportunity to be included in a lucky Draw. THE END OF THE ROAD FOR PARENTS WITH 70 POINTS.

Mr VOHRA Can we still think something about this??

People are getting nervous and hopeless due to this.

Find some GOVERNMENT CRAPPY SCHOOL GUYS OR GO TO SOME OTHER CITY...

I AM FRUSTRATED TO MY CORE!!!!

I wrote to many people yesterday but only Dr. HarshVardhan (BJP cm candidate) has responded, he said that he will raise this matter with LG.. Dr Harsh Vardhan seems to be a copassionate man. You too can write to him.
I personally met law minister Mr. Somnath Bharti today. He accepted that this is unfair and have promised to take this matter with LG.. It would be extremely nice if someone can write or meet LG. I suggest all parents should write/meet to these people
you can find contact details of these people over the net... If more parents take up this issue personally and give thier contribution impact would be more.

whoever is filling the case most important point in the transfer case matter will be whether to consider Delhi NCR (part of NCT  of DELHI) transfer as interstate transfer. if this is done away with then most of 90% transfer cases will go. Now to remove entire transfer case point at this stage will be difficult but Delhi NCR transfer was never envisaged in the current policy  or Ganguly committee report so i am sure and confident that HC will consider it and stop Delhi NCR transfer (part  of NCT of Delhi ) to get 5 points and at least we get this order situation will ease. As some people is intrepeting Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad & Faridabad etc as different state but as they are part of NCT of delhi that inter state definition should not apply on them. For better understanding i am putting which all cities Delhi NCR/NCT includes. The NCR includes the neighbouring cities of AlwarBaghpat,GurgaonSonepatFaridabadGhaziabadNoidaGreater Noida and other nearby towns,. this all towns transfer cases should not be legaly tenable and DOE needs to give a directive to this effect. more disturbing is that most of these parents who got these transfer cases have not shifted residence in last year. all   Further strict norms for verifying transfer cases and if found to be fraudulent  the  child does not get admission anywhere in Delhi . We need to have punitive action to stop this . All the best guys

I agree, inter state could be from any state other than NCR, we could say state which is more than 100 kms for example. And for checking, they shd ask for lease deed or some address proof of city where the parent was staying. Third check could be to say only transfers within last 90 days will be considered. Now, to ask them to remove this criterion altogether may be difficult but to build in non NCR and residence proof as well as restricting time period of transfer to 90 days should still be possible.

I think 5 points for inter state transfer seriously undermines fair treatment to citizens of Delhi.  It is going to be extremely difficult to get admission thanks to this new point system that punishes citizens of Delhi.  Mr. Sisodiya are you listening!

Absolute Fraud happening even in Big schools like DPS VV....Their waiting list for Girl Category has 2 entries which are atleast 15 kms (Way outside the Area Map given on DPS website) from i.e Punjabi Bagh and in point system it shows 70 points against their names,

1) V141512898MM - SARAH PRABHAKAR - HOUSE NO 65, THIRD FLOOR, WEST AVENUE ROAD, PUNJABI BAGH (WEST) NEW DELHI

2)  V141510020AP - LABHYA AGGARWAL - 34/43 PUNJABI BAGH WEST NEW DELHI NA

Request the moderator to please look into this matter. And fellow parents lets spread the word to stop this kind of fraud.

Done

Sakshi - what is AN doing to raise the main concern here? Both siblings and transfer cases should have assigned quotas and should go through lottery. What is AN doing about this?

Suneet

The Guidelines were made by LG but we are raising the main Concern ,70 Points not getting Chance and fake transfer.

Why cant Sumit Vohra meet the Governor and ask him to review the guidelines and allocate "say may be 25%" quota for siblings and transfer category. Its thousands of children at stake and not getting equal opportunity. For sure for LG too its a learning process and he should make amendments as part of learning process. Why cant this be taken on a very very urgent resolution required?

Cut off List 75 for almost all schools.

No chance for 70 points.

This distance thing no good for anybody.
