I am against Alumni points and a fixed cap on siblings.
Should DPS R.K puram be only for DPS alumni's children? If that is the case - All seats will be taken by Alumnis' children and sibling.
What about the other parents who haven't got opportunity to study in premier school.
Why should my kid not have an opportunity to study in DPS R.K puram ?

I experience the same this time at Bal Bharti, Dwarka. 65 of 75 seats were taken by alumni and sibling. only 10 seats for 75 points holders (transfer). and zero for 70 points holder.
Mr. suresh is trying to unjustify all the points. The battle is against State transfer case, not for alumni. Everyone wants to get his or her kid admitted in best school, which is not feasible and in fact its a matter of luck also to get ur kid admitted in one of the best school.
If we had spent 14 years in school, we have a right to get preferred for that school.
I think the point system should be completely eliminated. The only criteria that should be considered is that of distance(8 km ) as that is for the benefit of the children.Draw should be conducted for all the applicants considering all of them equal. Only then each child will get an equal opportunity.
the same concept goes for transfer cases as well there are a lot people who will be banking on these 5 points as they have no other reference point in the city scarp the ncr points but why should everyone suffer. why wasnt this whole issue raised in the first place why now how does a parent plan anything at all ..... everyone has some grudge or the other people not getting distance points or alumni points or girl child points or sibling point no one can make every one happy... so what now the earlier list is scrapped ... also please everyone who went to court guide me how do i appeal against this verdict i actually do want to because i think what has happened now is very unfair
I fully agree with you Mr. Suresh, I think the point system should be completely eliminated. The only criteria that should be considered is that of distance(8 km ) as that is for the benefit of the children.
