this is so unfair.. now my son dont stand a chance in any of the schools.. just on the basis of neighbourhood.. i dont think he can make it any of the nearby school even.. forget about a lil distant one.. i am really pissed off..

This is an extremely stressful situation for parents waiting for the admission results to be put up considering the criteria for points are being changed just a few days before the admission lists are to be put up. Parents who had applied to schools taking into account the criteria for admission will no longer stand to benefit since there is a huge difference between the original and the revised criteria as per the government's directive. The policy maker's decision implies that if well qualified parents have no real advantage if they want to get their child admitted into a good school, only thing that matters is closeness to the school within the prescribed radius. Well qualified parents should forget applying to a school and make their child study privately at home -is this the end objective?The government should rethink ..... To make the admission process fair and objective "multiple criteria" (not just the distance) should be taken...

It means those educated parents will be in huge loss who have not secured any seat in school till now. This has to be done earlier. Parnts have filled forms in only those schools where they are confident after seeing the school crieria. If suddenly points systems will change, May be they could not get throgh in those schools.

Its just a mockery of the whole system and harassing little kids and their working parents who do not even have tome to complete their routine work but have to run after schools for all this non-sense.

DOe also wake up so soon that everything is now done and they want to show that they are also worried about the admission procedure.

all the schools should follow a liberal policy towards children

Exactly by allowing schools which have come out with their lists to carry on, they are actually penalising the schools for following DOE guidelines and declaring their results on 1 feb.
The government should make all the schools revise their lists so as to give equal opportunity to those who have suffered due to the point system

Point System is totally Useless. In Mothers International School- there are only 3 Paramaters Neighbourhood(40),Sibling(30),Alumni(30). Every staying into the radius of 8Kms will get the same points equivaent to me for which i am only 800 meters away. Rest Sibling point (30) i wont getas ihave only one child.Alumni(30)iwont get Bcoz i didnt studied from that school. So, I Believe Point Syutem is just a mockery which is only supporting those who are already associatedwith the school either in way of alumni OR sibling. Every school is doing the same thing for which I am quite sure that my Child wont get the admission in any good school.I am ready to voice against these Practices.Contactme at rsejwal78@gmail.com
