What if student name does not come in draw of lots

Could anyone explain how draw of lots work and what if child's name does not come successful in draw of lots? Does it mean that chances of admission for particular school if child name is not listed after draw of lots will end?

Yajat pandey no any school consider draw in dwarka beca...it's second child so any school draw only 60 &70 points and my son only distance point in 50 so pls said what will we do
