What if your child doesn't get selected in desired schools?

Hi All,

As we all parents wish to get the best possible education for our children, not of all us can get our children to top schools. As the D-day is coming nearer, I wish to know opinion of all the parents and moderators on the below points:

1) What if your child doesn't get selected to top schools or schools where you desired? Will you compromise and get your child admitted to some 'mediocre' schools?

2) What if your child doesn't get selected to ANY Schools you have applied? What should be the strategy adopted in this case?

my child selected in

Gitarattan public school rohini
Maxfort school sec 23 rohini

after 2nd list

which one should i prefer? What is the fee structure of Maxfort?

Soverign school rohini  if no other choice as Gitarattan public school rohini also belong to same management.

i m trying but i am not getting the desired school.
earlier the schools in which my child was selected were-
St.Angels school rohini
Vidya Bharti school rohini
DAV public school rohini
Himalaya public school rohini

Now in the 2nd list the schools are
Gitarattan jindal public school
Soveriegn School
Maxfort School

and my other choice is DIS junior

still waiting for final list of DPS rohini as my child's name was in the waiting list

by mistake i didn't fill the form for Delhi international public school sec-11 because of the confusion between delhi international school and this school.

Now will they consider for the admission if i visit the school and make a request. Also please guide my how should i make a request. Should i carry the printed copy of the request?
