Its depends on school, for e.g. For Amity Noida , there is no need to take the child for parent Interaction round however for Amity Vasundhra sec 1, it is required to take the child as well.

It is not written explicitly anywhere, however while you'll go there, they may comment that bringing child was preferable.
Infact in the same room of interaction there is a separate area where a few teachers may be interacting with your kids. So better you take him/her along
