Cambridge School, established in 1931 by eminent educationist A.C. Deb (with buildings inaugurated in 1963 at its present location by Dr S. Radhakrishnan and Mrs. Indira Gandhi) is based in South Delhi. It believes that education should prepare children for academic excellence as well as for character and leadership. The curriculum emphasises the development of curiosity and thinking skills. It also promotes integrity, perseverance, an appreciation of the arts, and the capacity for teamwork. The school is affiliated to the CBSE and offers many options for the Board examination.
