Delhi international school

MY son got the confirmed seat in this school only, pls tell be whether i shoud go for this scholol or wait.... this is the only school where my son is geeting confirmed seat as of now and i have applied for 9 schools

I just dnt understand y they didnt tell me about the splash pool and sector 18 developments, extensions whatever. they jus tol;d me they dnt have swimming pool.

i called the school reception and inquired about what all is mentioned in this site. she said yes these all activities available in school n ratio is also same 20 to 25.

one point i forgot about safety like they have cctv or not n transport safety? did anyone of u asked bout this?

secondly, the list was of 189 students n there was no waiting list. is it possible? i thought they have listed all who applied but i met one family in my society who's son was not selected there..:P

Regarding the CCTV, I got the confirmation today that they have CCTV within the school...for transport I had along discussion and they told me the school buses starts from inside so thy take the complete responsibility and also all the buses have GPS installed. However, if you have opt for private transport like van, school will not be responsible. The school will only be responsible till the point they handed over the kids to the van driver.

Actually, I was looking for van type of transport as well but unfortunately they dont have....so if I am thinking about this school, I need to either find a way for someone to pick my daughter from bus stop to home..as its a pretty good walk distance. Else I will see if I can find a way to pick and drop her myself.

And yes, I also found some parents who have filled for DIS but not got in the list....I think thy have given preference based on the nearest location.
