experts please help..

Parents are requested to share first hand inputs.

Greetings!

Sir - It is not clear what is the status you are projecting in NKB and of which Sector school (4 or 17 or 25) and what is Wait listed number you have. Please clarify so that accordingly it can be well answered. In any case, it would be something as follows:

1. NKB Sec-4 (it needs assessment based on above posted clarification)

2. R.D.Rajpal (I personally equate J.M.International with R.D.Rajpal, however, per the received feedback the teaching staff is not same there which adds a drawback on the part that how much teachers are acquainted to the school methods, which is very nice, and hence I place J.M.International on 3rd place among your options)

3. J.M.International (consider it same as NKB Sector 17 if that is the case)

4. Shree Ram World / MBS International (you can go per your preference since personally I would keep SRW over MBS, but usually parents consider schools up to 10+2 and other infrastructure that MBS provides)

Thanks!

Thanks for the response..Nkb sector 4. My daughter's name is there in first waiting list at 100.. shall I wait for that?

Sir, as far as I know, you need have to wait much per my assessment:

1. NKB-Sec4 just started the admission process for the confirmed seats by yesterday and it will wind up by tomorrow i.e. 6th February, 2020.

2. On 7th and 10th, February they have invited Waiting List applicants, so I suggest keep an eye on the same by visiting the school to know how many confirmed seats are vacated and the school admission department will give you very clear picture whether you would make it or not.

3. Once it is clear to you by 7th February, you can easily get the seat in R.D.Rajpal or J.M.International as these schools will prepare for 2nd list by 11th February, 2020 promisingly. You may try contacting R.D.Rajpal and request them that as you are out-station per business work by this week, what would be the chances if you approach school by 10th February. I hope they will give you positive response.

All the best, and wish you good luck for NKB Sec-4 (you need to be attentive on 7th February per say)

Many Thanks!

thanks a lot sir..

I called NKB.. Security guard told there is a holiday on thu/fri.. probably due to elections so no admissions...

Were you not able get to Reception of the School or Admission Office?

I began to distrust Guards of the school . After 1st DOL, I tried applying in NiBS for MQ seats per given instructions in DOL, and guard told me to write an email and doesn't let me go inside the school for the application (as I could only afford to reach the school in my lunch break) which was after their visiting hours. Over the weekend I went there to inquire about the status (since the other parent got the invite from the school very next day of her application), and they told me that I was too late to approach for MQ seat (although I worked per given instruction of the Guard, and I loose very feeble opportunity that I tried for, but in vain due to Guard information).

See, the school (NKB Sec-4) has published in its Schedule the dates as 7th and 10th February for Waiting List applicants (and since today is Thursday 6th February, what happens to those who were in Confirmed List, I mean Guard should give complete information and not partial to make it irrelevant), so ideally school should inform wait listed candidates proactively for any change in schedule or when approached by parents to provide clear updates.

Thanks!

I went to NiBS too.. they say they will call if seats are left.

Do they have MQ seats?

Sir, I get to know from some parent that NKB Sector-4 has extended it Main List applicants processing till 10th February, 2020 3:00PM.

So, for Waiting List the school shall be able to provide the clarity approximately by 1:00PM (since 1PM to 3PM is the buffer time given to the applicants that missed coming by this week, and per certain source there are already more than 10 such applicants who were among absentees).

I think it would be very busy day for the school on 11th February as 2nd List is also due by 1:00PM (per their original schedule). Meaning, I assume on 11th February anyhow, the school will provide exact vacant seats available.

Thanks!

yes. I had a chat today morning too at reception of NKB sec-4...

For waiting list candidates, they will start process on 12th Feb...

and they said there wont be any 2nd list...
