Can anybody share details about the management quota seats in VIS and Indraprastha. Someone is telling that all the management quota seats in both these schools have got fulfilled.

I am in waiting list of VIS and as Rakesh mentioned it is tough even for 10 selected under waiting list. ..i am in same queue and waiting for a call... One of my friends also paid 2 lac last year to get admission in VIS, This is a known fact about VIS..and hence i opted Nibs under management quota where they are not charging anything extra for management quota

Deepti, I think its a wise decision. Can you share the fee structure of NiBS?

@Rakesh i do not have breakup of Nibs fee as yet I guess they will share during orientation. but i know they have applied to DOE for increasing the fees from 1.6 lac to 1.8 lac this year. this is the annual fees plus approx 10K for stationary and uniform and 2.5K pm for transport. They have taken a cheque of 50K for now... at time of application which will be adjusted against the 1.6/1.8 lac annual fees. They do not have any hidden charges.

Thanks Deepti. so effectively it is around 19 K per month. Almost double of DPS..

i dont know the fees for DPS..but yes in general...what the normal conventional schools charge for quarter is what we pay monthly in Nibs... i know and it does pinch my pocket since i am a salaried employee... But when i chose Nibs i compared the fees with VIS (as i was in waiting list) which is 11K plus transport 2.5 plus some add ons which schools requests..so my comparison was between 14/15K to 19K...

@Deepti last year stationary cost for nursery was 2800 + max 2000 for uniform....

As far as stationary is concerned school will not ask you to send even pencil in school everything they will provide....for homework or project work they will give decoration material.

There is no compulsion to buy 3 or 4 sets of uniform......you can buy any number of t shirts , shorts, socks from school as per your req....shoes one can buy from outside....school bag you can give any as they don't have NIBS branded bag.

Thanks Madhavi.. i just gave the estimate which was give to me..Thanks for providing the actuals. ..appreciate it :)

@deepti please let me know VISis taking your kid in which class?

Also the fees Structure?

I was in first waiting list of VIS but got no call for admission. When we approached they said they will call after the first list seats are not filled. But no call yet.I went ahead with Nirmal Bhartia.

OMG to us... OPG dint asked for any donation...may be they are learning from others :)

OPG is not that great school, they offered me admission at the time when I went their to take the form.

Not heard good feedback about it. Maxfort is much better than that. Their curriculum is very good, couple of friend's are studying there and they have good things to tell about the school. The only thing I didnt like is that they don't have a big playground.

I would not suggest to pay donation in VIS, rather go for management quote seat in NIBS. NIBS is also a good school but their fees is very high., but it's better than paying so much as a donation.

NIBS has management seats as lot of parents don't opt for it because of their high fees structure, comparatively small playground and it's not an established school like DPS and VIS. But believe me I have heard great feedback about NIBS, I would have definitely admitted my child there, if we were not shortlisted in any other good school.

At last, you can also go for Maxfort, it's not at all a bad school.

@Parul,when did you visit OPG? They asked for donation last week to me
