Two years back I was in the same shoes as many a parents are today. Searching for the best schools for my kid and then struggling through the never ending war of rules and notifications every year. It takes a toll but finally took a decision not to bend down and a strict no to donations. First year was a struggle and I let my kid continue in the play school in Nursery. The second year was bit easy on me and many a schools opened atleast 1 section in the Upper KG and 1st. It was a respite. So there I was with my kid in One of the best ranked schools in Delhi as well as India. And believe me you should actually look for the pedagogy the schools are following. It will make future of your kid. Don't force them to only academics. Don't force your dreams to be one like you. Give them options, let them be free. Give them Wings and they will fly. Do check for pedagogy of each and every school before you take a decision to let your kids in. Also one of the parameters I decided upon was checking the toilets. Though it may sound funny but if a school don't have a good hygiene it cannot teach your child some of the basic life lessons. You may reach out to me for any query.
