Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

dear all

like some other parents in this forum, our kid also got through to Apeejay(booked the seat) and FAS today. my request to you all is to help us decide on selecting the better one.

incidentally, we stay in indirapuram almost opposite across the highway, very near to FAS.

but apeejay authorities are likely to provide transport in indirapuram, going by the greater no of children this year from indirapuram.

we are looking for parameters like education, overall development and brand of the school,

pls provide your views... thanks a lot...

FAS will be a better choice. See it's mission, vision and goals in it's website.  Also consider neighbourhood schools in deciding a school.

Talking of website, it's poorly built. Also, mission, vision and goals are usually of academic interest only.

However, your last sentence is full of wisdom.

Online registration is a different software used by the school which I came across the problems faced by our parents.  But here I meant if we carefully look into the mission, vision and goals or motto of the school we can very well come into a conclusion of the school. It's moving towards futuristic education and what our kids needs for the their future.

Lathaa ji, ask a 7th /8th standard student to do a proof reading of their mission and vision and post the findings here......PLEASE.

I would recommend to spend an hour in and around the school and try to interact with the students/teachers/staff/parents rather than reading their mission or vision.

Buzzwords like "Futuristic Education" etc are not needed here. Even my grandparents were trapped by schools providing futuristic education ;-)

I sincerely appreciate the hard work you guys are putting here, but our expectations from you all are also pretty high !!

@Yogesh , I am astronished that you judge a school by its website . i can name some best school in Delhi and NCR that have really average or below average website.

On whole i noticed you expectations are quite high, you want to interview schools but don't want to take any initiative.Did you do any effort to form some type  of parents group who could go to school and as per your plan and interview schools.

I know many parents who are postgraduates but could not make in DPSN, so  i think you are quite judgemental.( as i read you mentioned fist they shortlisted the postgraduates) what i mean is don't be judgemental and Lathaaji is big time  educationist serving the AN.Com community ( without  any incentive )from last 3 years.

I would request you to show more respect towards her as she is Head of our core team. ( Can you do the same. serve the parent community after your wards admission is over ?)

See we need to answer regarding 3000 schools schools in Delhi and Ncr.
So cannot satisfy every parent ( having around 48k parents on forum)

@Sakshi - You guys are doing great job and this site has really helped parents to narrow down options. Your question really strikes me - serve the parent community after your wards admission is over ?

As pay back I will try to share my inputs and provide more details on schools academic, values, approach, achievements - post admission of my kid.

Few good initiative which you guys are taking on having defined age criteria for nursery in Noida. Few other points which needs generic attention are - Governing body on Increasing Fees and Admission Fee refund.

@ Shishir

Thanks a lot for giving a promising hand after your kid's admission.

Your valid points are already under Mr.Vohra's agenda.

Thanks a lot Shirshir and congrats, i must say you would be big asset to the forum as i have been though your posts and concluded you can write a book on your research :)

@Sakshi, Lathaaji and AN team,

Disagreeing is NOT disrepect. I was only reacting to a specific statement on mission and vision as posted on their website.

Secondly, I have always recommended to spend some time yourself or take feedback of parents rather than judging by websites. However, if a school can't proofread the content before publishing on their website, then it is a concern.

Thirdly, I have appreciated the hard work done by entire AN team in multiple forums; not sure why you are doubting my respect for you guys.

Lastly, I have been repeatedly raising my concerns regarding

   1. Transparency in admission criteria,

   2. Asynchronised timings for declaring final lists resulting in  unnecessary loss of fees deposited,

   3. Orientation sessions before admission rather than afterwards,

   4. Advantages/challenges for sibling cases,

   5. Use of technology by the schools,

   6. The overall "interaction" process conducted by NCR schools, etc.

I believe that a powerful platform like AN should not restrict itself to a mere helpdesk, but could play a more visible and assertive role which could enforce schools to do some course corrections and make them futuristic in the true sense of the word. That is what I meant by higher expectations.

PS: I am done with the admission of my ward, but still I keep coming back on AN.

Thanks Yogesh ,pls go to video section and  you will see more than 100 video's in which our founder has raised voice on all issues and around more than 1000 article in national and international newspapers but school lobby is very strong due to obvious reasons.

So no parent comes in open and as school penalizes them indirectly.Mr vohra is fighting this battle alone from last 4-5 years.

Things have improved a bit in delhi but not in ncr as education is state subject and they are not under doe

thanks a lot Lathaa ji and Yogesh for sharing your views

No doubt FAS is good but Apeejay and DPS are a notch higher partly because they are established and are in this field for a pretty long time, have infrastructure and more importantly have a brand to protect. FAS is a known name in western India where it is much more active and dedicates its best of resources. If I'm correct, at least in last 3-4 years FAS noida has not figured in the list of top schools of India however one of the FAS schools from western India finds mention in the list. I really don't know the reason why FAS Noida despite being a good school does not find mention anywhere. As regards discipline and values in the kids are concerned, in addition to school environment parents have a great role to Play. Academic result wise Apeejay has been delivering consistently at X and XII level. I really don't know how FAS has been faring. Apeejay has also been ranked at number 4 in the recent survey taking into a/c all points all factors. The negatives at this moment are Apeejay appears to be a bit costly and is a little distant for nursery kids.
