Yesterday, I went to DAV Vasant Kunj to do the admission related formalities. I was asked to deposit Forty thousand (Rs 40,000/-) only either in cash or by demand draft. When I enquired about the break up/details of the fee, they refused to share it and told me that I will be informed about it later. The money paid will be adjusted in future, if it comes out to be in excess. I am shocked to see such opaqueness in one of the prominent school, that too in the national capital. I do feel that one has every right to ask about the details of money he is being charged. Every school should post their fee details on the website.

However, I want to know about the details from the parents whose child is studying there. Also, please share your views about the quality of school. If possible, please let me know which school is better - DAV Vasant Kunj or Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vasant Vihar.
