KG Admission Criteria for 2021-2022

Due to age relaxation introduced last year, I am planning to try Grade-1 admission for my child for 2021-2022 session in East Delhi. My child is currently in Nursery. Looking for advise on 2 things:

1. Will it be wise to skip KG and try for Grade-1 directly?

2. What all knowledge is expected from a child going to Grade-1? What is asked in interviews of Grade-1?

3. What is asked in interviews of KG?

No school would allow you to skip KG and give admission in Grade 1.

No fixed admission criteria for KG. Most of schools take children / parents interview, some follow point system or FCFS depending on vacancy.(School specific)

Thanks, so I should be trying for KG admission only instead of attempting Grade-1 admission  by trying to prepare my child with KG syllabus.
