Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2026-27

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

My daughter was short listed for admission in the school near my permanent residence. They however, say that the aadhar card and electoral I D card which I have at that address in my name are not sufficient for showing that I stay there and are asking for a letter from the society that I live there. Are they within their legal rights to ask for such letters? My bank address and ITR are also proof that I live there.

This is not done. Voter id card and adhaar are proof enough to prove you live there.
Aadhar card is not accepted by few schools

@Prashaant Chaudry. Only birth certificate & 1 ID & 1 address proff is re. nothing other than this they can ask for such letters. As aadhar card & voter is genuine govt. proof. See the link & take the print out of this Notification of DOE and show it to the school they cant demand other than these documents.

Thank you for the link. I will take a print out of it when I go for the admission process. I hope they don't create a fuss.
