Hi Aakanksha,

You don't need to worry. The guideline of giving admission purely on the basis of distance isn't final yet. Even then, 1km is the minimum distance suggested by the govt. Schools are free to keep their distance requirement more than that. There are some good schools in Rohini which must be within 4-5 km range for you. You can apply and hope to get through one of them. 

I also read on this forum that this govt guideline will only apply to 285 out of 1700 schools in Delhi. You are free to apply to the rest of the schools.
