At least 10-15 schools or even more near your home within 3-5 km redius of you home !!

same here! have started researching on schools in and around Delhi. i am seriously considering schools in Noida and Gurgaon too...

Yes Alka ,you should keep your options open in NCR as lot of  good schools have come up with excellent infra and methology.

i am also looking for admission for my son...visited gurgaon on saturday. it has some reeally good schools like heritage, shriram, amity. i also heard g.d. goenka has come up with its public school in gurgaon on sohna road

Even though from South Delhi the kids might have to spend 15-20 more to travel to Gurgaon..But it is better than spending time in chaotic Delhi Traffic..Also the kind of buses that Gurgaon Schools have are very comfortable and air conditioned.

ya...very true. moreover, gurgaon schools do not have point system. taking admission is so much easier...
