Hi, our son has got a minor mental health problem becuae of which he has delayed speach. As a result he is slightly slower than other childern. He is 4+.(DOB: 23 March 2005) now and going to a nursary after completing pre-nursary. In order to make things easier for him and to better prepare him for the future, we have decided that we should let him continue in the nursary class for one more year so that his foundation is solid. The other important thing is that we wish to consider any alternative school like Sardar Patel where he would not have to face presures of exams and at the same time he will be able to have primary education in mother tongue. Now there are two major concerns:
(a) His current age which is accurate according to the previous crieterion but not according to the new. Even if we consider for admissions in KG
(b) Re-admissin in Nursary - Is there any limit in terms of the maximum age of a child for a particular class?
(c) Are there schoold which would consider all these problems and provide a solution?
(d) Are there any specific institutions which support such children with alternative teaching methodologies?
