Admission Procedure

Class NURSERY

Dates of interactive sessions of short listed candidates will be informed by courier. Due to the limited number of seats available, all applicants may not be accommodated. Hence only short listed candidates will be informed along with further detailed instructions by courier only.

Kindly note the following :
Residence should be within 3 km radius .This school is for Noida residents only. No form will be issued or received after the due date

Class KG to V
Parents to apply for admission to Classes KG to V in the month of February-March ,this is against any vacancy in the said class .If the child is short listed, he/she will be called for an admission test in the month of March/April. If the child clears the test, he/she will be called for a final interview with the Principal

Class VI to IX

Application forms are available only if there is a vacancy. Parents to apply for admission to Classes VI to IX in the month of February-March .If the child is short listed, he/she will be called for an admission test in English, Mathematics ,Hindi and Science in the month of March/April . If the child clears the test, he/she will be called for a final interview with the Principal.

Class XI

In the 11th grade the subjects offered to students to choose from are:

Science Stream
Compulsory Subjects
English (Core), Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
Optional Subjects
Biology/ Computer Science/ Economics/Psychology /Commercial Art/Physical Education.

Commerce Stream
Compulsory Subjects
English (Core), Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy.
Optional Subjects
Mathematics /Psychology /Commercial Art/Physical Education.

Humanities Stream
Compulsory Subjects
English (Core), Political Science, History.
Optional Subjects
Economics/Geography/ Mathematics/ Psychology/Physical Education/ Commercial Art/ Computer Science.

Compulsory subjects to be studied are General Studies, Work Experience, Physical Training and Health Education

Provisional Allotment of Streams for internal candidates will be based on their overall performance in Class X.

School Hours

Monday to Friday : 08:00 am to 1:40 pm (School gates will be closed at 08:00 am. Late comers will not be allowed to enter.)

Office Hours

Monday to Friday : 08:00 am to 12:00 pm

Visiting Hours

Principal	:	By Appointment only Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 10:00 am
Vice Principal	:	By Appointment only
Headmistress	:	By Appointment only
Teachers	:	Only when specified

(Registration Form also can be collected from School Reception from 7th Sept to 14th Sept2012 between 8am & 12 noon)

Age Restriction: 3 and Half Years as on 31st March 2013.

Pls take Printout of this Form, Fill it completely, paste the photos & attach following Documents:

1. Photocopy of proof of Residence (Passport shall not be accepted as proof of Residence. Latest Electricity /
Telephone Bills, Ration Card are acceptable.)
2. Photocopy of Municipal Birth Certificate of the child attested by Gazetted Officer.

PLS NOTE: This form is applicable only for NOIDA RESIDENTS.Residence should be within 3 km radius.No form will be issued or received after the due date.
LAST DATE TO DEPOSIT THE FORM AT SCHOOL: 20th Sept2012 till 12:00 noon.

Hi my son is 21 feb 2009 born, please suggest would he be eligible for somirville,also we live in sector 52 and the school seems to be strict about 3kms radius.

Ashish , first measure by google maps how far is your residence (Approx) from school. They are very strict about the distance criteria

Yes as the min age is 3 yrs 6 month , no upper cut off is mentioned ,and he is around 4 yrs on 31mar 2013 normally schools keep atleaat one year min upper cut off but still confirm with school.

Is it 3 km aerial distance or 3km by road. Is there a way to get aerial distance in google map..

Some schools follow their distance through school bus route .so better confirm with the school. yes very simple MR vohra deviced it how to use it for school and it was implemented in DPS /Ahlcon int.just put point a and point b you cab see the distance

Hi Sakshi,

My daughter would be 3 years and 2.5 months (approx.) as of March 31, 2013. Do you recommend that we still go ahead and apply for Somerville? Would the school authorities be willing to consider a difference of 3 months or so? Please advise.

Language "Residence should be within 3 km radius" suggests aerial distance. By road its coming out to be approximately 3.4km.

What is the age criteria for Somerville? I mean the exact dates within which the child will be eligible?
