I had a school tour, infact you could have just requested the receptionist and she would have arranged the same for you..The entire basement is dedicated to activities- dance rooms, western music room, indian music room, clay & sculture, theatre, art & craft, auditorium, swimming pool..They have a separate computer lab for junior & senior school and also separate libraries..The playground is on the backside & is of an appropriate size..they have ACs in all classrooms..

Hi Namrata

I saw your posts on TSMS. I have been through their interaction and the results are awaited. I wanted to know if you were able to do a school tour and see its infrastructure and facilities. Please share details of the same. From the entrance to the reception area and around the playground isnt visible. Any idea how big is that? Also what play facilities do they have for juniors and seniors?

Thanks

Namrata- Can you tell something about the extra curricular activities at Shriram school?
Comment by Namrata Wason on September 8, 2016 at 3:13pm

Akshay, the concerns were more around student teacher ratio, only focusing around weekly tests and no emphasis on extra curriculars..also traditional ways of teaching..

The school has undoubtedly given good academic results but I think its more about your perspective as a parent..You need to take a call on what you want for your child..

As a parent, I'm more concerned about student teacher ratio and non-conventional teaching methods..I want my child to be treated sensitively and equally not be judged on grades and marks..and I also wanted a good amount of emphasis on extra curriculars..which is why I felt that AIS may not be best choice for my child..your perspective may differ and you may find it ideal for your child..

Namrata - Were there any specific concerns that the parents raised about AIS?

Comment by Vishal Kamra on September 8, 2016 at 2:59pm

oh ok..Sorry I thought you paid it and now opted out..no worries. Thanks for clarification.

@Any other parents who paid and opted out -->> Did AIS acknowledge any refund amount or gave any refund date? or, Is it the same non-transparent process?

Comment by Namrata Wason on September 8, 2016 at 2:51pm

Sorry Vishal, I think I misunderstood..We got selected at AIS but we never paid them only..Since I spoke to some parents of kids attending AIS & was not convinced about it..

Hi All,

Which school have you chosen in place of AIS and reason for the same? Are there any concerns on AIS?
