I am looking at a play school for my daughter. While the infrastructure of KLAY was very good, TSEY was better in terms of teacher quality. Any feedback on the 2.

My experience with TSEY was extremely bad and now my son is in a new playgroup.

none of the two. pallavan is a better option. don't go by big names....in the initial years teachers play a very important role in child's growth and development. Pallavan has the passion.

Harleen, My daughter goes to Pallavan and its been very good. She is very happy and very fond of her teachers.
I would suggest WunderKinder is one of the Best Play School. Its in Sector 50. My daughter goes there. Believe me they have very good curriculam for kids, nice and homely environment, Hygenic, Neat and Clean. Its been 9 months that my daughter is going there and I have no complaints at all.

Hi Nisha,

Was going through your reviews on wunderkinder. I have also visited the school and I liked it. As your daughter is already going there can you please share your feedback with me..That will really help me deciding...

well my son is in TSEY  he is doing fine expect that he has crying bouts in the morning their are other three children from my neighbour, who go to the same school, believe me he has learned potty training,  his awareness regarding the environment has increased tremendously. I ve also visited KLAY what I liked about it was the cctv that they have and you can actually see  at home with your parents login  but I ve selected TSEY as I am satisfy with my son s performance, he knows better than his own group of student from other schools

Hi,

I also stay in sohna road 49 and I am also in the process of finalizing between pallavan sohna road or shriram early years sohna road. I will give my inputs of what i feel after going to both schools:

Pallavan: space utilized well especially the floors. Kids don't stay in one room keep moving after every acitivity. Warmly speaking sapna sayal who answers all your personal questions. Have been into operation for more than 12 years. The disconnects i have is on hygiene(specially washrooms) and time wasted in movement from one room to another(forming a line, moving around etc...though i am sure they would have figured out(i doubt its managed well because we are talking about kids). The parapit area can be dangerous if any kid goes there by mistake. I spoke to teachers and parents both seem to be happy. One more thing that comes to my mind is when my kid calls teacher maasi would she respect the same way u do to a teacher. Maasi in my opinion may make kid too friendly and cross the line. I could be wrong too. No transport.

Shriram: i liked shriram for cleanliness of washrooms, kids rooms, activity area. Good setup when it comes to play toys. I saw kids moving to playground which was simply perfect. Kids had arms on their shoulder and were walking in line. Somehow it reflected discipline in kids. Again i could be wrong. It has all activities like yoga, music, cookery, puppet, creative work area but the biggest draw back is they dont have that big a space. Yoga area is ok for 20 kids in a class but other areas are small for other activities. I would say the didi's or ayas are well groomed.

Idiscover xseed: school has good play area for kids, neat classrooms, communication direct from reception area. My experience was ok there. I saw a teacher lying saying your kid was happy all day didn't cry at all(the kid was crying like mad before the parents came...i was a witness to it). Someone in my known send her kid to that school and she is happy.

Pathways: somehow didn't connect with this school. I found it pricey too.

Mother's pride: this school gives you discounts like crazy(rofl rofl). First of its kind i went to. Safety is an issue in that school. My friends son was badly bruised. Teachers get scolded by parents left right n center for negligence. If safety you feel every school will have negligence then you can send your kid here. Amazing grooming when it comes to stage performance and all.this is the cheapest in this area. Teachers english is also a question.

Klay: has lot of dampness. Their day care is a mess and has smell. Reception and play area have my thums up. Otherwise its an ok place. They give you discounts also. What i like about klay is they keep organizing programmes for kids. I am yet to visit one of these programmes.

Gd goenka la petit: neat and clean class rooms. Pretty advanced teachings like tablets. Glass rooms so you can watch from outside(i am not sure if all rooms are like this). Major drawback is that it is very expensive.

My daughter went for 2 years to TSEY and as parents we had an extremely positive experience with the school. Again going with the Sriram approach learning was always fun. lots of extracurricular activities, filed trips eyc were done..
The teachers were awesome, once our daughter went through a phase of not wanting to go to school and crying every day..naturally we were very worried, so were the teachers..both of them worked together with us to ensure that our daughter once again started going to school happily..

Hi harleen...
My daughter goes to Klay...
I m happy with it..nice curriculum.
