4) Neighborhood 0-10 points
5) Promotion of Indian Heritage (particular field) 0-10 points
6) Outstanding service to Nation or achievement 0-10 points
7) Sibling 0-6 points
8) Single parent 0-5 points
9) Child with special need 0-5 points.

With this kind of point system, i think there is no way a new entrant can get admission. For eg. I put up in Green Park, so apart from the neighbourhood points i dont get anything else.
For service people to some extent certain points should be loaded in the system as the service people do not have anything apart from education and service. -

I also agree. With this point system, there is no chance for average families. one needs to be involved in an art field or journalism etc.

Very unfair. Whats the point of having such good schools which are dedicated to only a part of the society.
