Nursery Admissions in Delhi NCR 2025-26

Form Dates | Admission Criteria | Results | Fee Details | List of All Schools

Hi,

Can anyone please help me to get some feedback for VVDAV (Ved Vyas DAV), Vikaspuri.

How is the school academically. How it contributes to the overall development of child, including English speaking, Extra-curricular activities, creative skills, moral values, confidence level, etc.

How cooperative & talented are teachers/ faculty. How is the gentry, especially students, as Janta flats & Hastaal area is just in neighbourhood.

Their is a drain passing at less then 100mtrs from the school. Does this leads to mosquito threat, foul smell or any other related problem.

Is it worth taking admission in VVDAV as my residance is only at
700mtrs distance from the school.

How it stands in comparison with Saint Cecilia, Adarsh, Brain
International & K.R.Mangalam (all four situated in Vikaspuri)

Plz Share your views, this will really help.

Thx

@Lathaa Manavalan...

Lathaa ji please help...

KRM better than all schools but expensive. They follow holistic approach with great facilities for development.  VV DAV is good and ancient vedic values are given due importance. Adarsh can be next option.

Lathaa ji,

The DAV is offering "CBSE-i" Curriculum from first-standard onwards (1st to 12th). As per the feedback from parents & school teachers, the teacher-student ratio is less (max 30 are allowed). Technology is used for teaching. Studies are activity oriented & experiential (books are avoided). Classrooms are AC (air conditioned). Fees, though higher in comparison with general CBSE classes, are still lesser in comparison to K.R.Mangalam. English is the compulsary language.

Can this be a reason for selection of DAV above other schools (Saint Cecilia, Adarsh, Brain International & K.R.Mangalam)?

Also it's worth mentioning that we are getting alumini points in DAV.

You have a better experience and alumni points as well as per the existing guidelines. You have a lot of positive feedback to prove that is a good school and if you don't mind the hygiene around this school you can go for it.

Lathaa ji,

The main issue we are facing is w.r.t distance.

VVDAV is very near to our residence (only 800mtrs away).

K.R.Mangalam kindergarten is in Paschim Vihar (4kms away). If we choose K.R.Mangalam then we will have to send our ward to PV for next three years (till 1st standard; whereafter the kids shift to Vikaspuri branch - only 400mtrs away).

Will it be worthwhile to choose holistic approach of K.R.Mangalam in spite of the "4kms distance" issue?

Please guide...

It's up to the parents to decide. If I was in your case I would have gone for a neighbourhood school where I can get quality education for a moderate fee structure.

Lathaa ji,

Can you please provide some inputs about Adarsh Public School, Vikaspuri, if we compare it with VVDAV, Vikaspuri...

Also, do you have any feedback regarding classroom behaviour and discipline in these two schools?

Please guide...
