Aerial distance to be written on the forms

In admission forms, schools are asking for distance. Which distance we have to write. Road distance or aerial distance?

I live in bijwasan. Every school in Dwarka is at least 3 km from my home. Pls tell me how schools are going to measure the distance for allotting marks? Do my son have chance for admission considering the distance point?

@Devesh Mittal. According to me both are above average and choice between two then Bal Bharti>MRV
