By the way dodging means that from 1 to 50, teacher can ask any series in between to either describe orally or written e.g. teacher may ask a child to start from 21 and recite upto 35 and like wise in written they will give fill in the blank e.g. 21, 22, 23, ----, ----, 26, ----, 28, -----, ----, 31 etc etc.

Yes, Supriyo, please rush to a good coaching centre...kahi waha bhi seats full na ho jaaye...and btw good coaching center also take entrance test ..to uski bhi coaching hoti hogi.. :)

I used to only supervise, my wife used to sit with her as she her self is a teacher and knows how to handle kids

@really tough to get to good schools.  Gautamji sitting with her daughter for 1 hour daily for preparation shows the seriousness of the situation.

Any test for Kg, expect question from Class 1 Syllabus...If there are coaching for Abacus/Vedic Match from Age 3 +, there is definitely specialized coaching required for KG or Class 1 admission. We are from Old school of thoughts, and we believe academics is our only stair to climb up....3 idiots and Taare Zamin Par is good to watch ...not on real life ...at least to hard working middle class like me

@Gautamji,   Just to summarize, we had a good laugh... and your daughter deserves to be in a good school like Mount Caramel after clearing such a tough paper.

Parents are the best coach for these small kids....

I would not seriously know what came in the question paper as they did not disclose it and my daughter wanted to go for rides as soon as she finished her exam and till date she has not revealed what all was asked.....

@ Nishant: Comprehension does not mean that a child gets asked to read paras but general english communication which a child can understand

While I agree that we as parents had to take pain to get her prepared for the entrance but we did not do it like a coaching, we chose to do it in a more funny manner which can grasp the attention of a child

Comprehension for KG class entrance test...Coaching...... My goodness..... Is it really worth it to send our child to a school which puts so much stress on them......

@Gautamji and @Supriyoji,   I had a hearty laugh at both of your remarks.  Is getting admission in Mount caramal as difficult in getting in IIT that coaching has to be given.    What does dodging means pls.
