Comment by Sushil Vashishth on January 8, 2015 at 10:03am: I met with a KV 1 teacher, his son is studying is Bal Bhawan because in Delhi Cantt schools are from 1st. he also told last year gen category got many admission because very less people knew about the school in Dwarka.

Like KV in IIT Delhi campus.. I know this because i studied there..

Approx 155 KV's are having Nursery and KG Sections across india.. you have to check with KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan)

Comment by Lokesh Mehta on January 8, 2015 at 9:09am: The admission process of KVs starts in February – March every year. The age of the child should be 5 years at the time of the admission.

The KVs laid down detailed priority list of the children. Children of defence personnel get top priority in admissions. There are provisions for Central and state government employees children and single girl child. General applications will be given last priority. In the recent times, KVs are also giving good number of admissions to general category students.
