Let's see the new surprise package from LG today :)
was going through last 2-3 years posts of this website, there always have been people who were dissatisfied with that years guidelines. you give distance weightage, those with no good schools nearby are unhappy. you give firstborn weightage, girl child parents are unhappy. you give girl child weightage, boy child parents are unhappy. you give siblings weightage, first born child parents are unhappy. this year though everybody was unhappy.
so whatever be the new guidelines, there will always be unhappy folks. nobody is ready to address the 'elephant in the room', that is lack of good schools with affordable fees in delhi. the new good schools which are coming up are charging astronomical fees.
my suggestion is govt should give guidelines to new good schools to open up new branches which don't have air conditioned classes/buses, so that they can control their expenditure and pass on the subsequent benefits to public.
meanwhile old schools should be instructed to run two shifts to accomodate the existing students.
Pls help...Which one is better between Rama Krishana School, Vikaspuri and Kamal Public School, Vikaspuri?
i just dont like the nursery admission criteria od delhi.....it should be same as in haryana ,u.p-on the basis of parents n students capability n knowledge not on stupid point system n donations
As I heard some Dwarka schools r applying distance criteria e.g. St. Gregorious, BGS intl, ITL etc.
If it is so, it should b for all schools or none of them...Right..
Giving extra points for 1-2 kms will create problem as good schools are not evenly distributed throughout Delhi
.......... as far as i think........ expect sibling (which is practical & true as per current situation which can be easily verified from school) rest all points allotted should be scrapped. Everyone should be brought to the equal stage and should be given a fair chance in draw
Agree with Niti
@nayha....thanks a lot now got some options.....nearer to home....at least....
5 pts should be given to kids in 1-2 kms radius..... wats say?
