please let me inform when the mission admission forms are available for nursery 2014-2015

My daughter got admission in Somerville Int..Happy and relaxed..Not applying in any other school...for us mission admission is sucessful..

Hello Tamal ..thx for the information ...my son is Nov2010 born..so if it follows the same age criteria then he is not fits into the schl as he is short by 1 month.

Also it is established fact that Somerville is best known for it academics but if any body could please highlight whether they pay importance to sports & other extra ciricullar activities which is equally important in today's scenario. How do we justify choosing this school over and above the modern international schoools of today.

Well you might take a chance but better to call the school and check. They are very specific about their rules.

thanks for reply. I called up school , they told me you can fill the form as our admission is open for Noida candidates only and we are not asking for any fee right now, so you can try. I heard earlier as well that they are very strict about their rules. Lets c. Hoping for the best :)

@Alka-> What proof of address are you attaching? Will they consider Voter ID? When I called them up they were very hesitent to consider anything other than what is in the form.

I too am planning to fill in the form but have only Voter ID as address proof. 

Also I think the DOB cerfiticate copy needs to be attested by a Gazetted officer. Can we get it attested from a Notary instead?

And does Address proof also need to be attested?

Does somerville accept postpaid mobile mill (They have mentioned latest telephone bill so assume that should be acceptable)?

Also what is the last date for submitting the form?

Finally as I said earlier I am not able to find a gazetted officer for DOB attestation. Can I get it attested from a Notary?

Please advise urgently.

Hi Shashank,

I am not sure about notary but while collecting the form, I asked about some of the address proofs and confirmed that mobile bills and bank statements are not accepted. Even though not mentioned in the form, but rent agreement is accepted.

Hi Shashank, last date of form submission is 13th and yes postpaid mobile bill is accepted.  For DOB attested, you can visit any doctor in government hospital.

Rent agreement is not accepted. I called them today and they agreed. But, I am sure they have to accept mobile bill. Otherwise it is too much irritate.  Only electricity bill/telephone bill and ration card. If you donot have your own home within 3 kms then you must not have ration card and electricity bill.

for date of birth certificate, the photocopy must be attested. It is not a big deal. Visit any government hospital, doctor will do it. 

Question is only about address proof, i.e as per their form electricity bill/telephone bill and ration card. I do not understand why such a stupid restriction. I only assume that postpaid mobile bill will be accepted. I will call tomorrow to the school and will post the discussion.

One of my friend submitted his application with voter id card as address proof although it was not mentioned. So my advise to apply what ever the proof we have. We are not doing anything wrong.

Submitted form today. They hace accepted rent agreement and postpaid mobile bill both as address proof.

@ Surja -last day of submission today only.i dont think they have sent a letter from today onwards.plz confirm when they r going to start sending couriers

I have submitted the form today and they told that within  a week you will receive the courier if shortlisted.
