Yes Venus, I have gone through all this last year coz missed filling forms and was worried weather my daughter will be eligible for schools or not as she will be 4.2 in march 2015. but finally its over and a great relief... I can now do.. this....

Visited the school today, those whose interaction was done on 8th and 9th  Sep have already got the calls. No more calls for these 2 days.

any more interaction are expected as I have submitted the form on 28/Aug/14.

Got information from Courier guy that no more interaction letter will be sent.

I am confused and wondering that what is the criteria for shortlisting.... in my society many parents received it and few got selected, so distance is not the matter.

I also went to school today to check if one can expect admission call for the children interviewed on 9th Sep. But nobody was available to answer my query.. But I am not hopeful now :( It is disheartening..

the school authorities still are telling that whosoever had been interviewed last week will get call this week if selected.. but i dont think that we will receive any calls for children getting interviewed on 8th or 9th.

I visited the school today and they told me that those who had interaction last week will get calls till this Friday if shortlisted.They are in the process of calling parents.As such we all still have some hope.Lets pray to God that our kids get shortlisted.

But I think now interactions are over , i called at school they said we are not going to send more couriers now....

Very disappointing for the parents as there is no fix criteria of selection. I know its not the distance. people within 1-2 kms of radius didn't get the interaction letter whereas people living within 7-8 kms gets the same.

They must define the criteria of selection.

even I am residing with in 2 km radius(Rajat vihar), But not got the interaction letter. I don't know why they have mentioned that the 3 km radius criteria.

Though my daughter get admission in the school but I am following this and other threads and can understand the pain of parents. I am happy but not able to express the same because of these kinda issues.

Does anyone know the cancellation procedure of Somerville? If I need to cancel the admission after paying the fees, how much is deductable and how much is refunded back? Any idea on how many days does it take will also help. FYI-I am not doing it; just asking for my information.

i dont think so that you can do RTI. this is for delhi schools not Noida/UP schools.

I am also puzzled with the Somerville selection criteria. I was eagerly waiting for the interaction letter and never got it. I live in sec-62 and in my society 3 kids were selected. If I compare my case with other kids of my society, I feel that prefer >= 4 yrs child. My child was 3.7, so I am just guessing. I may be wrong, but distance factor can not be criteria.

I know two parents in my society whom child DOB is 16-09-2011 and 28-09-2011.

And they are called for interaction.

Small clarification on the age of my daughter. She would be 3.7 as on 31-03-2015. She is now just 3.1, so I still believe that Somerville prefers >=4 age criteria for shortlisting. In my society, all who have been selected will be >= 4 as on 31-03-2015. Since they have selected 3 child from my society, distance can not be a criteria.

Yaar Mukesh, We are in complete tension of our kid admission. Do not get interaction call from good schools and still waiting for other school results. In KPS, my kid is not selected in the final as well as waiting list. Hopping some good news from VBPS, Cambridge.

And here, Mr Santanu, who is lucky to pass through all tough tests of one of the best school in Noida are asking for cancellation process just for knowledge enhancement !!!       What a Height of innocence?

With no offense to others, its just my own view on the query when the query person himself says of non-withdrawal.

One very good school is waiting for your daughter. As per my believe we always want the best for our kid but GOD knows what is best for our little ones.
And mate all schools are good with some +/-, and VBPS & Cambridge are also very good reputed school, i am sure you will get through in one of them if not both :)
And yes i also didnot like Mr.Santanu's comment.
