I have a query. Somerville is one of the most sought after school amongst Noida schools. Still there are two things which I feel are missing in the school - 1. Modern day foreign language option as 3rd language... they are still having only one language option i.e. sanskrit; 2. they do not involve their kids in olympiads.

Wat's ur take on these points?

Olympiads n only Sanskrit i agree are drawbacks.

Better double check with Tamal

As in Vasant Valley Delhi (considered among top schools Sanskrit is mandatory but children can take French but school will neither teach or take responsibility

Last years  our featured  member  Vishal did extensive research by visiting to all sought after schools n taking to parents.

I think he could not make it to Somervillle (Just double chk in his comments)

Was very honest and after lot of efforts he chose FASN over AmityN

We had Somerville interaction today , it was direct Principal interaction with parents along with the child interaction with a teacher sitting on another side in Principal's office only .

we had a good interaction ,not sure about the result declaration day .Just a guess that it will be sometime next week as there are interaction schedule till friday.

The basic concern of every school that we found is if both the parents are working  then who is looking after the child .The same question I have actually asked in every school .

@Kavita : Please check the previous messages(2-3 page),someone shared the courier guy details , I received the courier yesterday only,he is taking care to send all the copies at the said addresses .

@Kavita ,BG : My interaction time of morning 9:00 ,initially it was registration of 500/- They called for the interaction just after 10 minutes . It was around 10-15 minutes of interaction .

The Question asked from Child: What is your name ,what is the name of your school , she showed some books and asked some Fruits ,Animals ,asked to sing a rhyme .Gave a choclate and said bye :)

Question Asked from Parents : We interacted directly from Principal .She asked About profession ,you both are working , who take care of the kid . She asked all education details from kid's father starting from school .she  was asking the details like From when are we living in Noida , is it our own or rented ,how far will it from school . Why are we preferring Somerville ... How far is the play school where the kid is going ..

we all are in same boats.Till School is not confirming that the process of sending courier is over we can only wait.

i also havent recieved any interaction date.It seems there is ,lottery for interaction.Doesn't matter where you live.People from sector 77 have also received letters which is not in  3KM radius.Mine is sector 26 and havent received anything yet.
