I had Parents interaction session yesterday morning (received sms/email for interaction on Friday, 24th Aug). My registration number is 600+.

By when I can expect results to be out OR till what day/date I should wait before trying luck in other schools? Your response will help me in deciding my next course of action.

Hi Hitu, as of now they have not mentioned anything. They will arrange parents orientation in the month of March and will give the details. But as per their notice board the nursery session of 2018-19 timings are from 9 till 12.30.

We met with Principal & she asked general questions like why somerville, how long you are staying in Noida, which play school child is going. Another teacher was siting n interacting with child, she was asking name, play school name,rhyme, what did you eat in breakfast & who takes you to park. Also in the end they gave one chocolate to see if child will say thank you or not. The interaction was of around 7-10 min.

They take one week to declare result as we had interaction on 18th august & result was out on 23rd August.

@Ritu: Interaction date was yesterday i.e. 27-Aug 08:45 AM and they declared result today few minutes back.

So finally any clue or you are able to make some guess, on selection criteria (for form selection).
I think Somerville start changing its criteria. This yr they prefer working parents (without sibling child) even relatively longer distance. Ex: Sec120.

@Vikas: I think they were earlier also preferring child from longer distance. We have many kids from our society going to Somerville.

really speaking the selection criteria for Noida schools still remains a mystery. One of my office friend also tried for Somerville ( he also has almost the same profile but his child was not selected). So really difficult to comment on that.

I agree with you Mithun.... Its like cracked an IT exam or something like that...what they expect from a child who turned 3 Just and not even aware what the hell is happening in sake of interview... I am a mother of Twins and some time my one child speak and sometime another in the interview.... since school has to take both so they had to reject other also.... nursery admission is became a mission for most of the parents...
