Still my doubts are not clear.

LKG and nursery are same? Then what is pre-school admission ? and what is pre-primary ? and pre-primary duration ? and age criteria  for LKG and UKG.

Appreciate it if anybody clear this doubts.

    Thanks in advance

  • Anita Midha

Hi. pls let me know when will admissions in KG classes start. My son is 4 years old, my husband and me have been transferred to delhi. Are there separate seats for transfer cases.

  • Amit Gupta

Can anyone advise how to get admission under management quota specifically at Mothers International School?

  • Sandeep Pal

@Nijo KJ. All schools dont provide seperate classes for LKG (Lower kinder garden) & UKG (Upper Kinder Garden). Age criteria are same 4+ as i have applied in one of the schools of dwarka they have both LKG & UKG they asked me what class do you want to apply for then i asked them they told age is same i applied for UKG. Pre- primary is KG that all schools have age is again same 4+. Not every school have different wings for UKG & LKG in despite they have common wing i.e KG (Pre-Primary/Prep.) no UKG nor LKG. Pre- Primary is regular 1 year duration as normal classes are. Some schools have Nursery then LKG then UKG then class 1. But normally that every school offers is Nursery, then KG (Pre-Primary/Prep.) then class 1.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Anita Gupta. No separate seats for transfer. just regular process. Some schools starts with Nursery some after nursery depending on seats keep in touch with schools. For which location are you searching for.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Amit Gupta. You have to directly class the management for that. why are you on management quota just go for regular process if nothing get you you can ask for management quota as they save it till last for more money.

In that case , please advice which schools offer seats in kg.
I live in Rajouri garden - west delhi
  • Sandeep Pal

@Anuj. Wait many school will open admission in KG on seat availability. Lets the dates come near for admission.

  • Anuj

    Thanks.
  • Sandeep Pal

@Mrs. Areej, Yes you son is eligible for class 1st.

  • Amit Gupta

@Sandeep Pal. I have already tried under regular admission route for my daughter for the last 3 years but have been unsuccessful. Now my son would become eligible for nursery this year. As he does not stand a chance on point anywhere as he is neither a girl child nor a first born I was looking at options for management quote for either him or my daughter. If any guidance can be given it would be very much appreciated. I chased Mother's management quite aggressively last year but no luck. It seems one needs to have contacts at the right places to get through.

  • Nijo KJ

    @Sandeep and  @ Lathaa

Thanks for the detailed and crystal clear information.

    Regards

Sakshi does springdales Pusa Road takes out forms for kg?
  • sakshi arora

    Hi Sakshi
There is no information on kg admission on any school website neither are school allowing the parents to enter the school to talk to principal. I m scared if the schools donot come out with openings it would be too late. Pls suggest how to get this info.
  • sakshi arora

My preferred schools for kg in rohini/pitampura are
Ryan international, n k bagodia, Dav puspanjali, heritage, lancers, dps rohini. Any chances?
  • Ravinder Kumar Chauhan

Hi All, I am looking for admission in 1st Class for my Son.....Can anyone suggest some good school and admission criteria in west Delhi.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Shikha Khanna. Springdales is very rare to come with KG admission. As no seats available. Be in touch with school or ask whats the procedure for KG admission. give an application if they say.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Sakshi Arora. Just wait for Admission process to start. If seats are there yoy will get the process from the school. Keep in touch with the school as soon as Admission process  starts.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Ravindra Kumar Chauhan. Which location are you searching in west delhi. whats you budget.

  • Anuj

    @Sandeep sir
Any chances for seats in KG in st. Francis janak puri
  • Sandeep Pal

@Amit Gupta where you stay. You cant depend on limited school for nursery admission. You have to fill as many as schools you can.

  • Sakshi (Moderator)

  • Sandeep Pal

@Anuj. Very tough as they demand good amount if they have seat. As there are transfer from from there junior branch. Where you stay.

  • Anuj

    @sandeep sir
    Rajouri garden
How much do they ask for?
  • Ravinder Kumar Chauhan

@ Sandeep,  My preference are DPS Dwarka,ST Francis De Sales School

(Janakpuri), Nirmal Bhartia School (Dwarka), Bal Bharati Public School.

Regarding budget, i am flexible .

  • Sandeep Pal

@Anuj. as i have heard near about 1.5-2 L or more depending upon them & the seats they have & approaches they have got.

  • Sapna Giya

@Ravinder-- St Marks(boys) have entry level from Std 1..u can try

  • Sandeep Pal

@Ravindra Kumar Chauhan. DPS Dwarka will come after Nursery admission if they have seat they will upload on web site. St francis dont have seats in class-1 because they deman money & you have to approach the right person for that. Same with nirmal bhartia & bal bharti they too dont have vacancies in school. You have to make mind for more schools.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Anuj. why dont you try in PP International & other school.

  • Ravinder Kumar Chauhan

@Sandeep, I am not interested for St. Marks. Kindly suggest any option for the school i mentioned.

  • Ravinder Kumar Chauhan

@ Sandeep, Thanks for the feedback. Can you suggest any good school in Delhi Cantt.

  • Amit Gupta

@Sandeep Pal. I stay in South Delhi, Safdarjung Enclave. At the time of my daughter's admissions I had applied to close to 35 schools but got admission into only 2 schools worth mentioning Ambience School (As it had just opened) and St.Marys(After an extended grovelling session in the principals office :) ). I ended up choosing St.Marys. Last year I had applied in DPS Vasant Kunj and Mothers International. DPS was waitlisted which didnt materialize and at Mothers we did not get lucky in the draw. I am not overtly concerned about my son's admission into St.Marys so my main concern is to get into a better school. Plus since my son on his own merit would not get enough points to even figure in the draw of any school I feel it would be a wasted exercise to apply and hence I am seeking any breakthrough with the management quota seats. But if you still feel that there might be a chance for my son to get in on just points I am more than willing to go for it.

  • Sandeep Pal

@Ravindra Kumar Chauhan. are you interested in dwarka schools

  • Sandeep Pal

@Amit Gupta. In my views making for management quota in starting is not worth as its kept by school till end when list has been created of the selected. You can go for management quota even after the list has been generated. First give a try in normal process after that if not selected then give a management quota. I have given 3 years as normal process & in 4th i got  my son enrolled in BGS Dwarka with normal process without any donation just the fees they demand at time of admission.
