Hi , anyone have information regarding Rent agreement is valid residence address proof or not. ?

@Chandni. Some schools starts with nursery & some after that. You have to coordinate with school. It depends on seat availability. Birth ceritficate, ID proof & address of parent nothing else. Nursery criteria is 4 years as on 31st march not more than that. You son is 4 years & 2 days i dont think school wil accept him in nursery.

I have just now filled the form of Amity, Mayur Vihar for 1st class for my child. I only wanted to know, whether they conduct any test/ interview before final selection though it is prohibited

@Babita Rawat. Most of the schools conduct test from class 1st. You get to know after shortlisting. 

@Chandni. Very few Schools open their admission in KG on seat availability. Some school also conduct small test for this also some just shortlist & finalize the child. Coordinate with school about the seat & fill the form.

Mr. Sandeep, I hope you know that this school starts from 1st only and as per DOE it is also entry level. Do still school will conduct test?

@Babita Rawat. for entry level for class 1st they will not conduct test but shortlist as per criteria.

@Anuj--- only Holy Child( Girls) starts from entry level of KG in west Delhi---and for others if there is a vacany then only admissions are done on test basis..you have o c0-ordinate with schools about the vacancy...any specific schools you are looking for??  

@Chandni. Its better you call the school rather giving a mail as school admin very rarely check the mail. You will get a faster & correct reply.

st mary safdarjung enclave takes admission in first class.

but it is setting its criteria as age should be 6 years as on 30.09.2016.

it is voilating rules of education deptt.

as per school criteria child should be 5 and half years as on 01.04.2015.

please do something.

@Monika. Whats the age of your child. As the schools says its should have completed 6 years on 30th sep 2016.

my child will become 5 years on 14/03/2016. As per delhi govt. circular she is eligible for admission to first class.

but as per criteria of st mary safdarjung enclave she is not eligible as she will be 5 and half on 30.09.2016.

@Monika. I can suggest please talk once in the school regarding this. They will provide you the exact solution to it. if not then matter can be raised with others first try at your side. May be school can agree on the age.

St Mary is minority school...christian schools are exempted under govt notice regarding rules and criteria.. that means they are free to create their own guideines regarding admissions...other such schools are CJM, St Thomas, etc
