can anyone suggest which schools have seats available for Class I in east delhi .

@ Pankaj Jain, GD Goenka, Karkardoom is also open for KG. Other schools like Mothers Global, Hillswood may come in Feb. Keep checking their website.

@Nilo KJ: Air Force Bal Bharti and Modern School VV have come out with vacancy for KG. Pls check their websites for detail.

@Abha Jain: St. Marys Safdarjung Enclave has come out with admissions in First class. DPS VK comes out with vacancies after the nursery admissions are over.

Can any one share information about 2nd class seats in west delhi schools......

@Himanshu Asri. DPS will come with KG on seat availability after nursery keep a close eye as it will give 2-3 days for form submission & it will demand only DD. St francis will never give a clear information as they have transfer from junior branch & they sell seats.Same the case with sprindales.

Try in Salwan, Vivek Summit & St Frobel...If Dwarka is feasible.. then try in St Thomas Dwarka(co-ed), R D Rajpal ....and Doon Public School in paschim vihar...Richmond Global (if budget is not a constraint)..

St Columbus & Springdales do not have vacanies for senior classes generally.You need to have a mediator to crack in the deal

Hello everyone. What do you think will be the effect of the new notification by DOE scrapping all discretionary points criteria like girl child/first born etc.? Do you think schools will adopt it in this cycle? I have left out many schools as under the current point system I do not stand a chance in them but am thinking of now applying to all.

They have scrapped almost all criteria like First born / Girl Child / tranferable job etc. Total of 62 points have been listed covering almost all criteria other than distance and sibling.

@ Amit--- Distance, Alumini, Sibling & Girl child criterias stay...schools are free to allocated points as per their internal decision

@Sapna - Chk point no. 32. It clearly says Gender is discriminatory. 

@Amit--- since education to girl child is promoted..it will not be crossed

It states that no quota will be fixed under alumini, sibling or girl child... but points can be given under these categories
