This group is for parents trying for KG(Pre-Primary) 1st-10th grade admissions.whos children are min 4 years of age .Please exchange information about schools which have opened admissions in KG
@Prashant aggarwal- I personally would prefer Nirmal Bhartia School. Have heard a lot about the school from parents whose children are already studying. They focus on holistic development of the children. A lot of learning happens in natural ways, through exploration and real life experiences. However, SVIS is also a reputed school.
Indian heights tution fee in KG is 5700 is just half of NIBS..............
has anybody experince of indian heights monthly tution fee for higher grades........ since this is what i have to monthly if this is tis less in indian heights ....it adds more weightage to Indian heights over NIBS then.........both are open for admission in KG on FCFS
Hello sir/ madam
Could you pls suggest a school in rohini or nearby which is excellent in academics as well focus on overall development of child. I m looking admission in kg.
Feedback of Paul George global school alaknanda. I went to helpdesk organised and was really impressed with schools infrastructure n facilities. Want inputs on other aspects and teaching mythology.
DearSakshi, Please advise me I have applied in Nirmal Bhartia for my son in 1st std, now I have to pay 50k to block theseat, meanwhile I have applied in Mothers Int also, as I stay in Safdarjung enclave, please suggest what to do? why they are not following DOE norms..please advise, I dont knw how good is Nirmal Bhartia and its monthly fees, please someone answer
Hello. Is Fr Peter Mermier School in C-1, Janakpuri and St. Francis De Sales in A-4C, Janakpuri the same school ? I mean if a child gets admitted to Fr. Peter Mermier Pre School will he be automatically shifted to St Francis school after 2 years, or there is again Interview or other intervention required at that stage ? I was thinking its automatic but I have heard parents saying they make excuses like no seats at the time of shifting to senior wing. Please advise.
@Abha Jain - Won't Nirmal Bhartia be a bit far from Safdarjung Enclave? Have you considered St.Mary's Safdarjung Enclave? Even there are good schools in Vasant Kunj area which may offer admissions in Ist Std. Mother's International Safdarjung area gets only 25 points out of a possible 40 for Distance.
I got my chld admitted in KG in Nirmal Bhartia tdy by giving a cheque of 50 k.
Monthly tuition fee of nirmal bhartia is 10300 . Though i found school fees slighlty on a higher end but then went ahead with it seeing positive reviews .
Could you please tell me in which school I can apply for admission in Class 2 in South Delhi. My child DOB is : 13.01.2010...I await your valuable reply.
Thank you so much Latha n Amitji.. I knw Nirmal Bhartia is too far frm SJE..but i dont mind changing my residence for it, as my husband is working in Gurgaon..i have applied in St.Mary which is walkable distance frm my house n have applied in Mothers also..I m trying for Vasant Kunj DPS whch can come up opening fr 1st in March..but my query is giving the amount of 50k to Nirmal Bhartia is better and shift to Dwarka or wait till first list of mothers int comes in.
@Abha: There are no guarantees of getting admission in any other school. Most of the schools will open other classes' admissions after the nursery is over which would be mid-March and your session at Nirmal would start in April. So whether to wait or go for Nirmal is a call you have to make based on your current circumstances. Mother's Int you have very slim chances in my opinion as (a) the seats are very less in 1st and (b) SJE does not get top points for distance. I tried for my daughter in 1st last year and we didn't even figure in the draw.
@Antaryami: Most of the schools in South Delhi would come out with admissions for upper classes after Nursery is done. I would suggest make a list of schools which you are interested in and call them after the 26th Jan to enquire if they have any vacancies and when will they start admissions.
@ jaya school is very nice with all ++ but a bit high on pocket even though money spent is worth to the quality but still amounts 13500 approx p.m. including transport
St Thomas Dwarka is the extended co-ed branch of the famous St Thomas Karol bagh... studies are very good..if you are getting a chance u must go for it... the only negative aspect is its location... its situated in isolated kinda place..
My neighbor's kids are going there ..and they are quite happy with school and the care they provide to little kids..ratio is very low compared to other schools and that's a plus point...
I need help to know about the school who takes children in KG class as my daughter is 4.3years and no school is ready to take the application. All schools are asking for nursurry.
Pls help
Ok you can try for Air Force Bal Bharti Lodhi road which starts admission from KG only. Also Modern school Vasant Vihar and Mothers International have come out with vacancies in KG. All these schools you have to file application before Friday so you need to move fast.
Rest some schools will come out with KG vacancies after nursery admissions are over.
St Mary's Safdarjung Enclave also admits 4+ students to KG class and I think they have vacancies. You need to approach their Santa Maria campus in Vasant kunj.
My kid is studying in KG in Salwan Public School. The School is average, average infrastructure and the teachers are also not good. I am also an alumni of Salwan, but it used to be better at that time. Further, the fee structure is as high as 10-11000 per month and infrastructure provided by the school is not upto the mark. Hence, I am trying to get my kid's school changed. I am considering the following options:
a) Bal Bharti School, Gangaram Marg,
b) Springdales School, Pusa Road;
c) St. Columba's School, Gol Dak Khana; and
d) Manav Sthali School.
Please suggest any other good school better than Salwan near Karol Bagh Area. Also kindly let me know if the above mentioned schools have started admission process for admission in first standard

Hows St Thomas Dwarka? Infrastructure-wise it's so so but keeping in mind the brand it carries, I want to understand how Dwarka branch is doing?

Sir it is very much possible that all good reviews were posted by their marketing team. Afterall, these are business houses first, school later.
I think, good way to know about school is to talk to parents whose kid(s) studying there.
But i wish you all the very best as NBS is certainly a good school, if not the best.
