    DPS Dwarka has come out with 3 shortlisted children with 75 points.

    Would they do a draw of others? There were total 6 seats in the general category.

    @Sandeep : there are total 6 general category seats in DPS dwarka.
    they have shortlisted only 3 names.

    what will happen to the remaining 3 seats ? will there be a draw ?

    I have enquired for MQ in DPS Dwarka...no reply as yet...i'm not expecting also any reply as the distribution of MQ seats are quite opaque....it will be a waste of time to wait....

    I need to pay fees for my kid for this session within this week in present school...that means no chance to change school this year ...sad (:

    Thanks Sandeep. Only reason for shifting is better brand name within Dwarka. Otherwise I am satisfied with the MBS school. Tried in DPS Dwarka, Venketeshwar International School, Bal Bharti and Mount Carmel but none of them have vacancy for class 1. Nirmal Bhartiya has. Can you suggest any other school?

    @Rashmi. Sain. Y didnt you tried ITL, Indraprastha. ITL now closed Indraprastha you can call & inquiry. Rest school you provided very difficult for vacancy.

    I also have been trying for few years but has failed to get my kidinto a elite school.. Basically what sets us back is the distance thing , we couldn't qualify for dps vk and rkp since we live in west Delhi and would have got nopoints for the same( tried my luck last time but wid no avail).. Dps Rohini is also very far .. I have filled applications last year too in some premium schools like modern , sanskriti , spring dales too but no reply so far .This year also I filled in these schools. This gets very frustrating and discouraging that why our children are deprived of getting into gud schools ? Since we are getting no points for distance, siblings,alumni etc.. I think it's better off conducting entrance tests for children so that a fair trial is given to each one..
