I have been following once in every 2-3 days with BVN for KG...Till now no response as they are saying they do not have any vacant seats for KG...

Btw have you got some school in option for KG?

what is the procedure for selecting kids by school in 2nd class onward admission. is it draw of lots or entrance test? do points (distance, alumni & sibling etc) also matter as they are taken in nursery. thanks in advance

It is school specific.

Some sought after schools follow points system.

Rest most of schools do profiling of parents and any thing in written or verbal can be asked from child from previous class curriculum.

currently my kid is in KR mangalam GK2, but got an issue with commute, and school's buses are costly when integrated wid school fees. so thought to change school

filled rjms but no luck

filled don bosco but no luck

filled Tagore EOK waiting to see what happens

for south delhi i am not getting much schools for KG.

lets see what happens next... these school admission and luck draw system is litrally waste of time

Thanks a ton Mam. You have always been a great help. Just one clarification needed, as the circular link shared came in the year 2015-16, so does this same circular holds true for the current year as well. And, is it also applicable to all the recognised schools including unaided recognized schools. Kindly confirm. :)

After reading feedback from parents from previous years, i understand choosing Mt Carmel Dwarka will be a better choice than choosing ITL, Dwarka.

Is this understanding still valid or one can choose ITL.

Should we keep Mt. Carmel current de-recognition in mind ( i hope this is a temporary issue)

Many schools are not refunding, specially Minority schools and some others.Double check with respective schools before depositing the fees.

Simple letter that we have got admission of our ward in choice of our school.

Pls refund with details and zerox copy and take acknowledgement.

is there draw to be conducted after interaction??

@Modassir Ausaf Khan kg list for Tagore was already out yday. You can call the school and confirm if your child's name is there. I called up yday but my child's name was not there...we are not that lucky...

@jasrin, yesterday at 12.05 PM i was at the school with teachers.

after interaction i was told that they will be conducting a draw and will inform about the result..

and if KG list was already out yeaterday.... why i was called for interaction?

@Modassir Ausaf,  Can you please update what type of questions were asked in the interaction and who took the interview from school?? My interaction for Class-IV is on Monday 25th Feb 2019.

@ Mosasaur This is so strange..no idea what this school is doing. I called up on 18th when the list was out and they told me draw has been done and my son's name is not there in the list and there are only 4 seats. We went for interaction on 12th..

Now I think this school is up to something else. Really disappointed

No transparency in Tagore and many more schools and they are doing screening of children and parents against DOE guidelines and RTE.

@Sakshi Chopra, We have given written application in Tagore EOK and later on they called up to fill the form and then share the interaction/interview date.

Sankriti school forms for 9th class are out.Last date for filling it is 24th Feb
