Agreed with Rishi, the delay is just for the purpose that we don'y deposit the fees elsewhere. I think Narendra fell into their Trap and didn't deposit fees in any school. 

4.8K formula does not makes much sense and these top schools won't even allow you to enter the school once the admissions are over (Nov/Dec). Even though so many International schools have came up in recent times, still the seats in traditional schools gets filled quite easily and they won't wait till December. So i believe its better to block to seat in any of the good schools rather than waiting only for DPS.

I am sure there are few schools they will keep calling parents till November and December this has been witnessed last year too. 

I am really not trapped as I have been following few things on School side to make sure I don't loose at least what I have got already and I am sure I will have option to get seat in APJ, Bal Bharti, Cambridge in end of October too.

If schools are making fool of us then why can't we try to do some thing so with schools. So I am trying my bit too. Let's hope how things will turn in next few days. I am sure things will be clear by end of next week and we all can take our decision.

That means, if one not getting any E-Mail today means either rejected or pending.

Yeah, I am sure they will play some trick if in case seats are not yet filled.

I think, interaction process is over, and now they would have given fee submission date. My assumption, pending because If some parents do not deposit fee, then they will recall pending ones for admission.

On calling the school, do they say that kid is rejected or do they ask to wait. I didn't get any email saying you are wait listed. Would like to make sure that I am not waiting in vain!

I didn't submit fees in APJ and Amity last year after selection as my kid was in lower range of age limit and I didn't want him to feel stress by starting main school so early. This year I didn't submit fees for Khaitan and Vishwa Bharti to wait for DPSN. I hope I won't regret later, give me some assurance. :)

Is Vishwa Bharti taking requests for extension for admission date?

I did submit extension request in Khaitan and got call yesterday for depositing fees again, which I again didn't do. I am hoping Vishwa Bharti would do the same giving me another week. :)

By the way, I agree with Rishi that things won't be finalized until next week. They would collate all pending seats from all offered and make the final list after 4th Oct

I am also in same league and not yet deposited fee in APJ, Bal Bharti and Cambridge.

Hope to get seat in mentioned schools if in case DSPN not turning in positive way.

Though DPSN behaving to us like nerd but we are still behind it and that's the reason these schools taking us for ride.

I am quite sure that DPS will not update any thing until next week as today is last for some parents to deposit the fee and I am sure DPS Noida will come up with some excuses again being holidays for next two days and then weekend.

We don't have any option than hoping for the best.

Anyone who has deposited fees in DPSN or Amity N, can tell me whether both the parents should be present at the time of taking admission ? Is it compulsory ? Or anyone can go ?

Thanks for showing concern buddy, but you know I should be able to get seat in these schools in next week too. I will wait till next week probably till Tuesday and decide next step.

Will try to get things clarified from DPS on Saturday too.

Hi Pallavi, In Amity, both parents are not required at the time of taking admission. For DPSN, I think though they prefer both parents but 1 will also do. But Child is required as they do some medical checkup.

Have u got any update from DPSN.

Rishi, why do u say that amity was never an option and shall not be? any specific reason. I'm asking because my son has made it to AIS noida only.

All schools are good. If it is near to you and you feel it is good and fits in your criteria then you can not find better school than Amity.

Even my preference was to Amity as it is very near but unfortunately my kid is not selected for final admission after 2nd interaction.

I haven't got any call from both schools. I am just gathering info, as my husband may go out of country for some official purpose for 10-15 days, and in case I got a call from these school..as amity will declare their 2nd list on 10th Oct and I am eagerly waiting for DPSN results too !! So lil worried ..

That should be fine, you can tell them and even can take some proof of that your husband is out of country. I don't think there should be any problem.

Prefer to take child's grand father if available, would be good. I have seen few such cases where grand father accompanied in absence of father as father was out of town/city for official purpose.

What a nonsense and pathetic things from DPS.

My result was supposed to come on 21st but I was told with pending status on22nd. You mean to say they will update my status too?

I will probably take my decision on Saturday if DPS things comes out quickly.

Even I tried same number and 115 about 7-8 times, but can't get through and it keeps ringing, no one picks up the call. It Sucks!

tdy i deposited the fees in dpsn...They asked DD of 80,000...nd then 20,000-40,000 for donation of NGO....THEY TOLD US that they will provide the breakup of fees in the month of marh, 2015.....rght now only receipt they have given us..

plz let me know anybdy ....80,000 includes the quarterly fess???????

rishi they ask for donation for two NGO's and they give 3 options it wud b 10k, 15k and 20k u hv to choose any one bt amount ll be doubled as of 2 NGOs for girl's education
