Dps dwarka, is considered best but you have more schools like Maxfort(it was not recognized with cbse),
Venkateswara(coming up really well), ITL, Indraprastha, OPG St. Gregorius The Indian Heights St thomas(not affiliated to original one)
Mount Carmel (anand niketan) is considered very good so dwarka branch is considered ok
Bal bharti dwarka is just average
Presidium has good infrastructure but as it belongs to mothers pride group and is only 2-3 years old. the common perception of parents is not GOOD as they consider it only money making machinery(judge by your instincts)

Maxfort-Dwarka again breaking the rules & asking parents, children to come for interaction sessions even before last date of submission - 16th Jan.
there is nothing stopping these private schools and they are continuing breaking the law & harrasing parents.

Hi, Want to know about "The Indian Heights School" in Dwarka?

  • Jaspreet

Thanks Mandeep. Do you have ideas about BGS International, Shree Venkateshwar International, Indraprashta World? How do you rank all these including Indian Heights? Please tell me priotity wise, if possible. Thanks

  • Halla bol

Hey i do would like to put up my comments to this as i am also focusing on them....

    1) Indraprastha -- Good name and reputation.... (But i dont see a separate dedicated play area or school block for Juniors)
    2) BGS-- Good in academics and good name in dwarka, Run by a South india Trust
    3) Indian Height -- if i belive my eyes and I always liked this school....haveN'T heard any bad about it... but dont know...well one thing fr sure.. will have a very good name in next 4 years
    4) SIVIS: I heard that it has a good infra..but quiet a money minded schoool(ppl call it)....

  • Jaspreet

Thanks Mandeep & Halla bol for your great comments.

  • Jaspreet

@Lathaa ji, Which school is better?
    1. BGS International
    2. Shree Venkateshwar International
    3. Indraprashta World
    4. Indian Heights School.

    Please priortize.

Dear Latha/Sakshi can you please help me in between OPG or Sachdeva Global. I'm confused between the two because there's not much information available about these schools. I have only these two options available in addition to Shanti Gyan Niketan-Goyala

  • Rohit

My daughter has got admission in St Thomas Dwarka, ITL Dwarka and Indraprastha Dwarka. Which is a better school for overall grooming (not just acads). My views:

St Thomas - Very good reputation, but location is a hindrance. I've also heard that Principal has changed recently, so quality has gone down. This might be just a hearsay.

ITL Dwarka - Good school, but management needs to pay more focus/attention towards school. This was common view in different forum.

Indraprastha - This school got 4th rank in HT 2011 Survey for west delhi schools.  some says very good.

    Any views?

Any update about Indraprastha Dwarka Sec10 list?

  • Deepti

can anyone guide on what is the sylabbus followed in nursery class

  • Sunny M

@Swapna: Except from OK types Jr. wing, St. Gregorious Dwarka has just 1 acre of campus. Thus, no space for playground and sports.

There are many a schools in Dwarka with huge campuses and good academics. Better go for them if you have a choice.

  • Simrita

Hi Lataji, Sakshi, Can you provide a list of top 5 schools in Dwarka?

  • Simrita

Mount Carmel has age criteria of 3.5 years on March 2013 and VIS sector 10 is not taking admissions for Nursery.

  • Tarun Choudhry

@Neha: The pre-primary is not nursery.. it is KG, for nursery (preschool as they call it), it is 3+ on 31st March, 2013

WHETHER OFFICIE ADDRESS CAN CONSIDER AS A NEIGHBOURHOOD CRIETARIA..??

  • Arpan Khanal

    Hi All!!!!

Can anyone let me know if the affidavit for first child should be in Rs10/- stamp paper or on Rs.100/-???

  • Rahul Goel

    @ Arpan

Affadavit on Rs 10/- is ok.

  • Maheshwari Singhania

    @Amit

It won't be possible for school to sideline good parents if maximum parents buy only forms. Generally schools have different series for online, offline and with prospectus forms. But that doesn't mean others will be rejected. So don't worry and send awareness about these malpractices...

  • Maheshwari Singhania

    @Amit

Thanks. I feel that if selling prospectus if the most important motto of this school, then I would better opt for some other school. All the best to you too.

  • sunita singh

Maxfort school , dwarka is asking parents to come and meet a day after submitting the registration form. Can someone tell me what is this all about?

  • parul.kapur84

Can anyone plz let me know about the fee structure of IP International, Dwarka and VVDAV, Vikaspuri?

  • sunita singh

Lathaji, i reside in dwarka...want to know is there any point in applying in DPS vasant vihar and vasant kunj for my first born daughter...plz advise

  • Sinchita Bhattacharya

Yes Amit I saw the difference while submitting the form at indraprastha. They do have separate color forms for people buying prospectus & those who don't. Whether it will have a bearing in the final run is what needs to be seen

DPS Dwarka results are out. Writing is clear on the wall. If you have siblings studying in the school, or your parents are Alumni you are shortlisted.
