It seems strange it seems schools are following their own rules... I didnot received any call from VIS or Maxfort. God knows how they are picking kids.. Latha ji can something be done for this. Many schools are not following rules and not transparent.

So , what you people think  is going on ,pls tell we will highlight

Sakshi mam, for dwarka international draw, my husband was present,..the draw for girls quota was conducted twice..bcuz in first time they picked out slips only for girls above 70 points...after agitation from parents they did redraw..but m not sure it was fair or not..could not make out all the girls name was der or not..pls help

Schools were supposed to be transparent about their lists and draw system like DPS Dwarka is doing. Why other schools are not following it, we dont know how Basava, Maxfort or VIS is selecting kids like i also secure 70 points why i didnot received call, This means they did some draw but without notification to parents. Question is why schools are not draw in parents presence, which they are suppose to do.

I believe no draw has been conducted in these schools, they are just selecting the kids based on some other parameters...

IT IS RIDICULOUS WHY TRANSFER PEOPLE ARE ELITE THEN THE PERSON WHO ARE STAYING HIS WHOLE LIFE IN DELHI..... THIS WAY HIS CHILD WILL NEVER GET ANY CHANCE EVEN GETTING HIS NAME LISTED IN ANY OF THE SCHOOL APPLIED......... I LOST AGAIN IN DWARKA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

ONLY SIBLING CASE IS VALID & JUSTIFIED..... REST ALL THE POINTS ALLOTTED ON ANY OTHER PARAMETERS SHOULD BE BANNED IMMEDIATELY........ WE ALL HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS TO GET OUR CHILD EDUCATED IN GOOD SCHOOL. ...... THE POINTS SHOULD BE SAME EVEN THEN IF A CHILD NAME IS NOT SHORT LISTED... THEN ITS OUR FATE

even my husband got a call, but since he was flying he couldnt pick. now when he called on the same no. the guard said the no. belongs to maxfort dwarka.. and has asked us to call at 9 morning tomorrow.

How is DAV vikaspuri? How is it as compared to Dwarka's other schools. How much fees in DAV vikaspuri for nursery?

@lathaa...what is the use of giving complaints at DOE helpline...till the time they will take action admissions will be over....though i gave complain at this number for age limit...while filling up the forms....nothing done yet schools did what they wanted to do....same way new session will start & kids would be without school...or may be in any other school but not of our choice.....

@ preeti same here....did not got call from any of them......lighten up guys.....don't take too much stress.......damage has been done....and i don't think any body can help know......just wait & hope for the best.....

so SAM INTERNATIONAL has started selling seats for Rs. 5000/-

now i feel management quota can exists..... at-least by shelling some money i could get a seat in a school....... what will happen if my son name doesn't get shortlisted in any of the school, what is the next option left for me..

1. Teach him at home during evening hours

2. Send him to Veda-pathsala in Haridwar or Varanasi

3. Put in On-line Training school via Net

actually the 8 kms should be sub divided into 0-3 km, 4-6 km & 7-8 kms and first preference is given to those who reside most near to the school, then only the criteria of limit of 8 kms works out logically & except sibiling all should be treated equal no matter whether girl child, alumni, transfer etc

@abc my dear friend u might be right but what about those who who have no or no good school near by

Seriously this is not the solution to sub divide the distance. But yes all the reservation should be banned except sibling.

...... honestly, i am not fighting to get into any of the luxurious elite school as i will not be able to afford their fee structure, and even if my son's name get short listed it is of no use of me, but yes a normal school which can provide a good academic & over all development of the child under the umbrella of my affordability (2800-4000) ......... thats what i am looking for..... its of no use of me if my son get selected in DPS, GD Goenka, Indrapastha Intl, Sachdeva, Sri Venkt ........ so like me every parent must have their limitations & parameters set for themselves

Went to Maxfort Dwarka today as they called me for "Document Verification". Here is the snapshot of the talk 

1. They asked me to submit my mobile phones outside to a lady before entering a room

2. Started talking about the nursery guidelines and my preference and viewpoint about Maxfort

3. They would be admitting the kids to their Junior school (Max Kids) opposite to Indraprastha school and from 2nd class onwards the child would be coming to the main branch

4. Though they did not directly ask for a capitation fees..they asked 20K as transport security (Refundable) and 30K as technology security (Refundable)

5. They asked me to confirm till saturday 

@ABCD this is the prob then my bro.. schools are very cunning they will find one way or the other they will do what they want to do..... only parents will suffer
