@ sarika no i have not got any calls from them, but atleast one parent on this forum, with 70 points,has got a call, so i was just wondering how are they screening candidates.

is there any chance for waiting list candidates in modern convent school.

I believe screening is also through a lottery system :-)

today i got a call from Delhi International school dwarka, they are saying my son has been shortlisted for admission there, just wanted to know about the school, should i go ahead and get him admitted or can i wait for other schools to come out with their list, please advise.

I think you should go & check what are they offering. I think they will ask for some amount on one pretext or other. Last option is always yours, whether to pay them or not.

Many schools are bypassing draw like in this case, it is Delhi International School, Dwarka. How can they shortlist without informing about Draw

I totally agree with Dr. Grover. For first boy child also there should be some quota or some kind of preference should be there.

understand from opt they were recognised till 05th start till last year and from this year they are claming full recognisation till 12th standard

queens valley - no luck again....it seems to increase pain with every draw. the preferred schools seem to go out of reach.

Rashmi do you know if they uploaded list in school website.. or any other channel to check it, apart from going to school?

we are being cheated by the Govt of NCT and DOE. Born and bought in delhi and staying here for last 35 yrs, still cant get hold of a school which is preferred and within 1 km from my residence.

Mr. LG pls wake up. You are LG for DELHI and not for other states

 Sandeep Pal if you really have so many feasible options - you might want to visit each and decide. Basava is academics oriented, IP is good, a bit expensive, VIS is again good but luxury, Mt. Carmel is one of best in dwarka - may be in top 5. You can skip Jinvani. SGS is also good. Rest I am not sure about. Other may throw some light.

@Sandeep Pal :- Don't go on the name of the school or impressive websites etc. meet the parents...of particular schools...discuss with neighbors,friends...may be help you out.
